Rated 3 out of 5 by from sounds good If this trimmer is anything like the Remington mowers, then its a great trimmer. The reason I didn't buy this is only because I'm sold on echo. My last echo trimmer I got from True Value lasted me 6 years and it isn't worn out yet. I need to get it repaired and service, since NOTHING has been done to it in 6 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great power, easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to weed whack and edge around drive, fencing, garden areas in a residential 3/4 acre lot. I was impressed by the easy start up and ease of use. Versatile in both traditional use and edging. Easily handled all areas and trimmed larger weeds with ease which my last edger struggled with, particularly down by the street where the ground is sloped. Would estimate this edger saved me about 25% in time subsequently. My only negatives would be that the air filter kept falling out during routine use and it seemed to eat through the trim line pretty quickly, faster than I would have expected based on use of other products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pretty large yard so this is used in a large area. It has been very dry so I have not been able to use this as much as I had hoped due to no grass. It is a lot lighter than other products I have used. It runs great and has a decent amount of power. Compared to a heavier duty it does not have as much as power, but can get caught in tall grass sometimes. But overall, it is a good product. I am not sure if I would buy this or not, but I would consider it for sure. I had not heard of this product but I also was not looking for it either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely a powerful tool [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one blows my old one out of the water. Easy to use. Powerful and easy to set up. I live in the woods and tall grass by the house and fence leads to snakes. This was a fast easy solution to prevent snakes from showing up

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use straight out of the box and powerful! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Remington Rustler for a little while now. I've had the chance to use it quite a few times, and I feel that I've gotten a good chance to get a "feel" for it before putting my opinion out there about it. Straight from the box, there were just two main pieces that I had to put together, the end of the rustler, and the beginning, securing them with screws. I also had to secure the handle on the pole, then fill up the tank, prime the engine, and it turned over quickly. For the last few years, I've been using a black & decker electric weed eater, and I honestly felt like it was just the right tool for my yard, but I found out after using the Rustler, that I was lacking a lot of power, that I never knew I needed. I have a fairly large front and back yard, with fence poles, landscaping bricks, trees, shrubs, and more, and this rustler worked wonders. It powered through vines, large weeds, thick weeds, and even new growth trees that started popping up in one of my flower beds. The only thing I could see that could be changed or added to the rustler, would be the ability to extend or retract the arm on it, for taller or shorter people. I, myself, am six foot three inches, and I found myself arching my back to use it quite a bit. Before I received the Rustler, I had never heard of it, nor did I even know Remington made weed-eaters! I would absolutely buy one of these, wouldn't even think twice about it. It's a great and powerful tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Women! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Remington RM2560 Rustler! I anticipated that it would be a pain to set up, but boy was I wrong. It really is as simple as 1, 2, 3!. In the past, I have had issues getting my previous trimmer to start up. I had to always bother my neighbor. It was such a pain. But with this Remington, I had not a single issue. I no longer feel like I have to work out like John Cena to build up the stamina to lift a dang-on trimmer because this bad boy is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and easy to hold. I moved to the South where instead of sidewalks, there are ditches. And these ditches are quickly over-run with tall grass and thick weeds. The RM2560 easily and cleanly cut these weeds down with precision. I used this 4 times before writing a review because I wanted to be sure that there would be no performance issues, and it still operates like it did on the first use. I would highly recommend this. I feel like this was made for women. It is not intimidating at all. It really does take the chore out of yard maintenance and make the experience much more pleasant. My only complaint is that I kind of feel like I had to hunch when using it. It didn't bother me, but maybe it would if I used it for a long period of time. But because I didn't have to fight to use this, I was able to complete my tasks quickly. Also, I am on the taller side (close to 5'9"), so that could be the issue. I am very happy with this. I have not had a single issue. I don't know how this compares to those heavy duty models, but for my situation and needs this was great. I had never heard of this particular model before, but I wish I had years ago. It would have save me a lot of turmoil. I will purchase one for my mother because it's that easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Durable! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently have been using the Remington RM2560 RUSTLER and I really enjoy it! Not only did the QuickStart technology make it super easy to start it up, but it also was so lightweight! In the past I have used trimmers that were heavy, and while they worked well, they really irritated my shoulders from holding them so long. With this trimmer, it was so lightweight and easy to reach under our low bushes in trees in our yard. My shoulder issues from trimming are a thing of the past! The only setback I had is that I would tell that it didn't cut thicker grass areas as well as the thinner areas, but it still worked. I would definitely purchase other Remington products in the future because I now trust the brand. As a gift (since I already have one) I could see myself purchasing this for someone else for an event such as a birthday or Father's day. Before this program, I had heard of the brand Remington but never really took the time to research more about it because I was just used to using my Husqvarna. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who likes a light trimmer and needs help reaching underneath bushes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for edging my lawn [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weed eater was pretty simple to assemble and works great at edging the long grass around the edges of my yard. It is easy to start and handle. Gas weed eaters like this one are much easier to use than electric ones. Definitely worth the price and gets the job done right and fast.
