Does not last at all
My wife bought this a few months ago for me in Germany. I thought it was great. Easy to clamp it in, easy to take it out. Could turn any direction...
But I didn't get to use it much, since the inside mechanism broke and it does not hold up the phone.
I unscrewed it and saw that the culprit is probably a plastic peg, on the top left corner, where much of the force is applied. Poorly designed product, made not to last, I think.

Great Product, but doesn't last
I have now purchased 5 of these over the last 2 years. It is a great product that works well for me to move from vehicle to vehicle easily. It allows me to use a case or not and does not interfere with my magnetic charger.However, the free mounts only last 2 to 6 months. The internal peg that holds the unlocking arm just does not hold up to the job. If this was fixed this would be the perfect phone holder. I have tried glueing this arm back into place without success. If the magnet was not in the way of the back of the freemount; I would put a small rivet. I have recommended this product in the past to others, but without being upgraded I will not be able to any longer. Unfortunately, it appears I need to look for a new more durable way to mount my phone in my truck. Please let me know if/when this product is improved.

Doesn't Last
I've had two of these, one in my personal vehicle and one in my work vehicle for about 6-8 months. Both of them have since broken after light to moderate use. Wonderful clever design, very poor quality.

Expansion phone holder broke
It lasted about 2 years, but the expandable bracket for the phone no longer works. In taking it apart, I see that there is the flimsiest of plastic posts on which the expansion lever pivots. That post should be metal.

Magnet needs to hit the gym
If you have a larger device, the magnet won’t hold the unit from slipping down. It won’t fall off just rotate to a poor angle. I have the larger iPhone, as does my wife, and we have the same issue.
