The Best thing we did.
We live in an area where power outages happen. We are rural and are always the last group to get power restored. We invested in the Generac system last year (2022) after we experienced another power outage. I have 8 large fish aquariums and being without power is not acceptable.
This year (2023-Feb) we experienced some of the highest winds in our history. Power was out for us for 5 days. Our Generac kicked on within 30 seconds of power outage and ran without pause for 5 days. When power was returned the transition was so seamless, my clocks never even stopped.

WORKS GREAT
Our generator was installed on Friday March 10th. The very next morning our power went out! The generator performed flawlessly! Our house and greenhouse stayed lighted and warm!! Everything worked as if nothing was wrong. Then when the power came back on later that afternoon the generator switched off just like we had been told it would do!
We are very pleased with our investment!

Meets all of my needs
As a Florida resident, I know that weather events can adversely affect me for extended periods. This generator allows me, along with my pets. to stay safe and comfortable until power is restored. In addition, the control panel is user friendly and it is easy to check the oil status when called for.

This has been a great replacement for a 25kw water cooled unit
We had a 26kw air cooled Generac generator installed to replace our 18 year old 25kw Guardian Elite water cooled generator. Metro Electric did a great job with the new install and we are very happy with the performance of new unit. Within 2-3 weeks of install, we had a 48 hour power outage and the new generator worked perfectly. It is a bit noisier than our water cooled unit, but that is to be expected given the difference in engines for the 26kw air cooled and a similar sized water cooled unit. We love the Mobile Link system for keeping track of the generator exercising and running, particularly when we are away from home.

Satisfied Customer - 24,000 KW Generac
Installation of a 24,000 KW Generac standby home generator was completed today. Generac and NewGen made this a very satisfying experience. The Generac appears to be a quality built unit. The included seven year warranty is a welcomed feature. NewGen Electric performed a flawless installation. The overall experience was gratifying.

Generac whole home backup never need to worry of an outage.
Generac with the whole home switch takes all worries away of a power outage, the monthly self check feature keeps the generator ready for the outage and the mobile link keeps all the information in the palm of your hand. we had Elan Electric install our Guardian 24KW and they did a great job, we would highly recommend Generac and Elan Electric.

Works like a champ
We had our 24kw installed in July of 2022. Currently we are on day 5 with no power and it works great. This is the second time it had to run for extended period of time besides the weekly test. Worth the investment. It is connected to natural gas and turns on within 10 seconds of power loss.
