Excellent purchase
We are very pleased with the company that did the installation. They arrived on time after having ensured via phone that the order was in line with what we wanted. The installation team explained all aspects of the installation and the ongoing use/maintenance of the system.

18kw Generator worth the money
Just went through 5 days without power in Michigan after a recent ice storm. My new 18kw generator performed flawlessly for 5 days powering my entire house. Temperatures got down into upper teens at night and upper 20s to low 30s on a couple days. I have real peace of mind knowing my power is backed up!

18KW Generac is great product & Platz Electric (MI) are great to work with!
Purchased the 18K Guardian Generac and worked well right away! Platz Electric (MI) were very efficient and thorough professionally installing not only the generator itself, but also completed everything involved including the electric, gas line connection and installation, etc. I didn't have to hire any additional electricians or heating/gas line installers! They were very helpful and patient with my township inspectors and all my questions etc. Highly recommended!

Waiting for a Storm
I purchased the Guardian 18KW Whole House WI-FI Enabled Model. It looks Awesome and it kicks on every Monday at 10am for a test. The peace of mind it gives me is immeasurable. Every time there is an ice storm or a rain storm, I am not worried in the least that I will lose power. Just waiting for the storm ! ha ha

UPDATED REVIEW ( STILL THE BEST GENERATOR ON THE MARKET )
LAST MONTH, CHRISTMAS EVE MORNING I BELIEVE WE HAD A VERY SERIOUS COLD FRONT COME THROUGH TENNESSEE, 18 & 20 BELOW IN SOME AREAS, AND FOR TENNESSEE THAT’S PRETTY MUCH UNHEARD OF. WE WERE HAVING ROLLING OUTAGES EVERY 30 mins. WAS SUPPOSED EVERY HOUR, IN EACH GRID, MY GENERAC WAS PREFORMING FLAWLESSLY, BUT I WAS STILL CONCERNED ABOUT OUR APPLIANCES, HAVING JUST BOUGHT THIS HOME BECAUSE OF THE FLOOD THAT HAD CAME TROUGH WAVERLY, TN. ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF EARLIER, WE HAD LOST EVERYTHING AND HAD TO REPLACE WITH NEW IN THE NEW HOUSE WE PURCHASED, SO I WENT OUT TO THE A.T.S AND THREW THE BREAKER, AND OUR 18KW GUARDIAN SERIES RAN LIKE A CHAMP !!!!!! WE HAD TO REPLACE ABSOLUTELY ZERO APPLIANCES, OR THE 2yr. OLD CENTRAL HEAT & AIR UNIT !!!!!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THE GENERAC GENATOR AND THE GENERAC COMPANY, AS WELL A.E.C. LLC ( ALPHA ELECTRIAL CONTRACTORS LLC. ). THIS GENATOR SAVED US THAT DAY !!!!! I RECOMMEND THE GENERAC GENATOR TO EVERYONE, THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED & A.E.C. LLC. Missing items
Bought New Generator, it is missing the skirting, and missing the wifi module, it came with a letter telling me to scan the QR code for the wifi module to be shipped to me, but when you scan the code, it says my generator is not an affected model, and will not be sending me a module, although it is on the invoice that it is wifi enabled and does have wifi, but the unit is missing? Will call and see what can be done about it i guess
