Rated 5 out of 5 by from First smoker I am overall very pleased with the quality of this smoker. It holds a LOT of food. For labor day, I did a 9lb pork shoulder and 4 racks of spare ribs..which were laid flat, not rolled. Everything I've made so far as turned out great, and the quality of materials used is very high. There is 1 exception, the charcoal door. It is very flimsy, and is not even close to being molded to shape of opening. As a result, smoke typically leaks relatively heavily form this opening- and I've had issues with temperature control as well as some air seeps in there as well. The door was replaced once by customer service very quickly, but new door was as bad or worse than original door. But with that said, I still have had great results, and by closing more dampers- to include the top damper occasionally, I've been able to learn to control temp. Otherwise, it is of very high quality, and have no doubt it will last for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Room to fit everything and some I've always hated how I have to force fit everything in my 18 wsm. Real estate is no longer an issue with this 22 wsm. I have many Weber grills and this is hands down my favorite of em all. The price seems pretty pricey but really worth it in the long run if you smoke meat often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this smoker!! I’ve used this smoker every weekend all summer now! It has produced some amazing results! With the water pan in, temps hold steady at 225-250 all day without fussing with it. My favorite way to smoke ribs and briskets is to hang them with the water pan out, until about 165 internal temp. Then I wrap in foil, and cook on the rack with the water pan back in until done. Weber doesn’t make a hanging rack any more, but you can get one from other companies that make drum smokers, such as Gateway, that fit just fine. I love the versatility of this smoker. You can cook with or without the water pan, or even grill right over the coals with the center section removed. It really is an easy to use smoker that produces excellent results!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Purchase! After countless hours of research for a smoker, decided to go with a WSM and couldn’t be happier. This cooker is able to maintain consistent temperatures, and the finished product is simply amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well Assembly took about 20 minutes. Hand forming the access door for best fit took about 2 hours of fitting, checking, forming, and fitting again. Checking the fit of the door to the edge of the door cut out is best done from the inside of the barrel with visual and tap tests around the perimeter of the door cut out. Get the fit as tight as possible here although the edge of the door may be gapped a little from the barrel. I found the radius on the left side to be a little different than the right side of the door cut out. Take your time here and you will be rewarded with economical burns and controllable temps. Once this is done, this smoker will hold whatever temps you want. I tested it with temps from 225 to 350 degrees with no problems noted. After several smoking sessions, I find this unit reliable and capable of turning out tasty food. A half full charcoal basket has burned for 7 hours with about a third of the charcoal left after shut down. Have yet to do a long cook, but feel confident that will be no problem. I recommend this smoker for those who like back yard BBQ and feeding large groups. This smoker is a monster capable of cooking a lot of food. It goes well with the 14 and 18 inch Smokey Mountains and Master Touch grill populating my patio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Platform, Upgrades Needed I have been very impressed with this Cooker, it is not a smoker or grill, it is an appliance. We have purchased a chamber temperature controller (digital) A MUST! we are going to be purchasing an electric meat probe as well. This is a sturdy well built cooking machine ....period. upgrades necessary for sure. I have smoked 2 briskets and both were a success! Best brisket I've ever had, you should charge money for this" is what they say. I e used lump charcoal and kingsford. Kingsford temp is easier to control, but the flavor of lump makes me add a little each time. 10 stars for sure!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Cooker-Smoker. This is an extremely easy to use smoker. I have only one suggestion and question for Weber design people. Why is it built upside down? When it is raining the rain water gets inside because the lid sets on the inside of the middle body??
