Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Smoker for the money Purchased the WSM last summer and haven't put it away since. Setup was so easy, you can have it built in under an hour. Performed great out of the box and the more you use it, the better it gets. I have cooked chicken, ribs, wings, all kinds, but my favorite so far was a 21 pound turkey at Christmas. This machine blew me away, one being that it can hold a 21 pound turkey, and two, being the best turkey I have ever made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good smoker. Significant design flaw. I love the WSM. It holds temps well. I've used it for short smokes--fish, chicken, turkey, ribs. And have used it for overnight smokes of pork butts and briskets. The design flaw is that the lid, unlike Weber kettle grills, fits inside the body of the smoker. The Weber kettles, the lid has a lip that goes over the base. Since the lid of the WSM goes inside the body, any time it rains, it accumulates in the bottom of the smoker. It makes quite the messy cleanup if there is ash in the bottom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Addition I purchased the 22 WSM mainly because I wanted the extra room when smoking larger cuts of meats and it did not disappoint. like my 18 WSM this is so easy to use and controlling the temp is a breeze once I have it dialed in.I have several other smokers and the WSM is my go to smoker. I'm not a BBQ Pit Master by no means, but I love spending time in the back yard with the smell of BBQ in the air. bottom line is the WSM will and can compete with smokers costing 10 times as much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smoker, just missing some minor features I love this smoker. Maintains temps really well. Couple issues I have is that the seals are pretty bad. The access door leaks far too much smoke (had to pickup aftermarket gasket. Cleaning out the coals at the bottom is difficult (should have a trap door at the bottom. Cleaning out the water pan is also a messy proposition (pan should include a lid so that it'd be easier to bring in to clean). Outside those minor inconveniences the grill performs remarkably and has capacity for plenty of food. I was able to smoke a 15lb brisket, 10lb prime rib, 10 chicken breasts, and 20 wings in one session.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for beginners and pros alike! Purchased the 22” In October 2018. Been smoking successfully ever since. Ribs, pork roasts, chickens, turkeys, buffalo wings are my wife’s personal favorite. The huge capacity has been amazing. Smoke once on Sunday, and have beautifully smoked meat, all week long, with minimal prep. Do yourself a favor and get online and find some forums. Tons of great info, and history. Lots of good people ready to help. I purchased a wireless thermometer, and it has been just the best combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it So far, I've used it twice. Once to smoke 4 tri-tips Christmas day, and once to smoke a 17 lb brisket. They all turned out wonderful. Only criticism is that the access door does not seal tightly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Smoker Best Smoker I’ve owned to date. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price, but boy was it worth every penny! I should have bought one years ago..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All-Around Smoker I was researching pellet smokers and started seeing the Smokey Mountain Cooker mentioned more and more. So I started researching and when I learned that quite a few champion smokers used Weber Smokey Mountain Cookers I was hooked. Much less expensive, more portable, and no moving parts or electrical boards to replace. I bought one for Thanksgiving 2018, tested it on some chicken, then smoked the turkey to a lot of compliments from the family. Used it several times since. Have a brisket on right at this moment. I am amazed how well it maintains the temp once its set. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase.
