Little use...just quit
going to have to get a new, different jigsaw tomorrow to finish our project. Only used a few times but have had for a year so out of luck I guess.

Blade Won't Stay In
Three weeks and about six uses in and the blade will not stay in. Something is wrong with the holding mechanism. It seems to latch but as soon I try to cut something it falls out. The store will not exchange it, they claim I abused it because the bottom is scruffed. Am I the only one who uses a tool instead of putting it in a curio cabinet to admire? The warranty number is a joke. It goes to some other company that just takes messages for them, and nobody returns your call. I'm going back to my cheap, 15 year-old jigsaw. At least it holds a blade. So much for upgrading.

Junk
Bought this a week ago, made 6 cuts with it and it just died for no reason, no power at all.

You get what you pay for.
I purchased this a week ago for work and I still don't understand why you can't get the t-shank blades to seat the whole way. I returned it to the store thinking there was some sort of defect with the quick-release blade clamp. I checked another jigsaw that was never opened and the blade fit the same way. It does hold the blade but not very well and not seated the same as my 10 year old B&D from home. I was asked to test it out by the clerks and if I found that the blade fell out they would take it back without an issue. I've made about a dozen cuts and the blade hasn't fallen out. The next issue is the baseplate isn't flat. It's near impossible to get a good 90 degree cut since there is always a bit of rocking. Not sure if I'm going to hold on to it yet or not. I don't want make any modifications (smoothing out the base) if I decide to return it. It at least cuts, just not well.
