Does the job
I bought this after my Bosch corded HD gave up the ghost after a short time. I was a little hesitant of the cordless feature, seen previously as a liability in my eyes based on other’s experiences with wimpy output and short life. I am setting anchor bolts in concrete and with a fully charged 3AH battery it went right through without fail. The hammer only function worksl for setting the bolts as well. I’m impressed by the amount of power in such a compact arrangement. Definitely recommend, but for all-day construction perhaps a higher capacity battery.

Super powerful hammer action
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this hammerdrill for over a year and it is by far the best one that I’ve ever had or used. I have come to expect power and versatility from Dewalt tools but this drill goes beyond beast mode. It’s not too heavy and packs a very strong hammer action while spinning like crazy. I drill a lot of holes in concrete for my job and it can get tiresome without the correct tool. I love the way this drill fits in my hand and makes light work of the task for me. Thank you Dewalt for such an amazing product

Easy to use and powerful drill.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this drill to in the rotary hammering mode to drill a 5/8 hole thru my 12" foundation enabling me to install a 1/2" plastic pipe. With no effort the hole was drilled in well under a minute. The battery power is a big bonus eliminating the annoyance of extension cords,

Lightweight but Powerful!
My team and I use our Dewalt Rotary Hammers on a daily basis. On and off the construction site this tool lives up to the hype! Whether you're drilling a small or large hole I haven't run into anything it cant handle. Compare to the DCH273P2 and you'll find either Hammer Drill will meet your needs, and then some!!

I don’t know yet
I bought this drill today with high hopes to drill holes in my existing concrete slab to place rebar. I only got three 6” deep holes out of two DCB207 batteries before both batteries over heated and were drained. It’s my first time using a hammer drill so I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong. Before the batteries over heated and drained the drill worked wonderfully. But with 12 more holes to go and only getting 3 every couple hours after waiting for the batteries to cool and charge doesn’t seem worth it yet.
