know the limitations before you buy
I buy this band saw back in 2019, and it was while before I got around to setting it up.
The saw works great, there are limitations. The 9" in the name refers to radius from the blade to the support column at the back of the saw. I understand that they then double this number. What they don't tell you is this saw has a 4" mouth and of that a max of 3.5 is usable. this is only a problem if you want to re-saw dimensional lumber, or tree limbs.
The mouth is too small for even moderately sized limbs.

Almost a complete fail
No way to keep smaller blades on tires. The offset between the top and bottom wheels is too great to tension a blade enough to cut even 1/4 plywood without the blade running off the back of the tire. This is with a new 3-pack of skil blades. Waste of money, support is nonexistent.

Good bench saw
This is a high-quality saw at a very good price point. It's not built for production work or to be frequently pushed to its limits, but for basic cuts in wood under 1.5 inches, it performs very well.

Big Improvement
The Skil bandsaw is a great improvement over my previous bandsaw. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble. Only issue I had was with the bolts holding to table on, I had to leave off the flat washers because with them in place the bolts I was given were not long enough to secure the table to the rest of the saw. But other than that it has been a good saw to use and I have been able to complete several projects since getting it
