Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Trimmer -- Terrible Head This is a great trimmer with an absolutely terrible head. It has plenty of power for what I need and really good battery life. The problem is the head. The bump feed never works reliably. I have to take the head apart and unwind a new length of sting every 2-3 minutes of use. Which is VERY annoying. I spend more time unwinding and re-feeding the line than I do using the trimmer. If Milwaukee would put a better head on it I would give it 5 stars. Milwaukee usually makes great products, but the design for the trimmer head is a big flaw. I wish there was another head I could use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trimmer Line Feeds Way to Quickly If I touch the ground at all, the line feeds out. This causes me to use a whole roll of trimmer line just to do my yard. I had the original M18 Trimmer and didn't have this problem. I'd think this would be a new and improved trimmer head with my new M18 Quik-Lok Trimmer Head.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This just doesn't meet Milwaukee's standards The trimmer is Awesome, and all my tools are from Milwaukee Fuel line. However this trimmer head has caused me nothing but grief since day one. I've replaced it three times and it still gives me a headache. Not sure what to do, I'd hate to have to switch brands just because this issue can't be fixed, but i run a business and this slows me down something awful! I have two of these trimmers, and same issue for both!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not satisfied Milwaukee owner Can’t even get the yard done without using up all the string. There is no spring in the trimmer head and by looking at the diagram I see there is supposed to be one. Don’t see a part number so I guess I’ll have to buy another head or try to find a spring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love the trimmer the bumb head is hard plastic You can tell as hard as this plastic toy bump head will not last long! Make it softer to reject.. Hard bumps... And a metal center to the bump head... Geez... You guys know better!! A plastic that gives.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not buy this product again I have always heard great things about Milwaukee tools so I chose the brand for my first power tool purchase of a weedeater. I have only had it 2 months and the plastic on the head is already broke. I weed eat around my house and flower bed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Doesn’t feed out string and every 10 minutes you have to take it apart and rewind the whole head. Worst Milwaukee tool I’ve ever used

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Patients I have been a 35 year user of Milwaukee tools and when my gas trimmer bit the dust I was quick to purchase this trimmer because I have several 18V Fuel tools. I purchased without reading the reviews since it is a Milwaukee product, I didn’t think I needed to... I would have rated 5 stars if it didn’t come with the cheapest line known to man. The first time I used it I was happy, however the second time was not so good, the line broke inside the head and I was frustrated that it had such a cheap line on an expensive tool. I replaced the line with some .095 line and it worked perfectly. Suggestion: throw away the cheap .080 line and put the .095 on it and you will be happy!
