good value but expected more
just bought this. I got tired of trimming with hand shears. So bought this model. The 20v seems weak but does cut new growth. Not sure would cut 3/4" twigs. does hold a charge long enough to trim all my shrubs. cutting a flat top shrub alot nicer with this than shrubs. but my expectations was to not have to bend (bad back) with 22" bar. no luck to trim lower part of shrub bent over alot. also at times be great to flip trimmer over so could sculpture shrub better. no luck. alot of times have to just hold with one hand. also ornamental tree ended up holding trimmer above head, which felt unsafe so keeping my shears which reach farther than this trimmer. also if shrubs werent already sculptured with shears dont think enough control would of been able to do with this.
finally battery doesnt go into trimmer easily. i have to give it a good pounding with fst to seat it. hoping few times doing this will go in easier or may return it. I will keep hoping more i use it better able to control it to get various sculpture look i want.

Wonderful trimmer at a very reasonable price
This is an excellent trimmer priced a lot less than the competitor’s models. I was amazed at how long the battery lasted and also the thickness of the branches/vines/hedges it would trim

Very sharp. Does an excellent job!
Bought this in Fall of 19 to replace a corded set of hedge clippers, as I was tired of taking a chance of hacking the power cord. This model is light weight and does the job surprisingly well. Was able to trim my 75 yards of hedges around my home with plenty of battery to spare. The only negative would be that B&D could include a rapid charger for the price. Waiting 3.5 hours for the battery to initially charge is a pain; not sure how charged the battery was when I opened the box, but it took that long to fully charge, so I'm assuming the new battery was nearly completely discharged. On a positive note, the biggest reason to purchase this model is its light weight compared to the 40/60/80V models, which can get a little heavy for prolonged use.

This thing's like the Energizer Bunny
It just keeps going and going the battery lasts close to an hour I get tired for the battery does if your thinking about getting a gasoline hedger get this instead it's light and it just keeps going and going what can I do for you I doubt if it weighs a quarter what a gas hedger does the power cut button really comes in handy when you get stuck on a limb after using this you couldn't give me a gas hedger
