Blade heighth.
I have owned this mower for about 6 years. TB230 My problem is that when adjusted to the highest blade level it is only 2 3/4 inches. I called and was told that if I wanted a mower that cuts higher then I should buy a new one. Has anyone expierenced this problem or know how to fix it? Thank you.

Great mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower last week after my old mower was "retired" after 24yrs of service. This mower was an upgrade - prior to this mower I said I would never own a self-propelled mower. I am now wondering what took me so long to get a self-propelled mower. This mower is great. It started on the first pull following assembly. It weighs less than I was expecting and therefore is very easy to maneuver around trees and other obstacles in my yard. Mower seems to be very efficient and did a great job.
I am very satisfied with my purchase.

runs great but set up a joke and seriously flawed
i got this mower today and when i took it out of the box for set up, the handle instructions were good but the set up was flawed. when you remove the screws to lengthen the handle the bolts fell out behind the wheels and in order to put them back in both rear wheels had to be removed in order to tighten the handle back in. then you get the screws to tighten the two handles together the pre drilled holes were too small to put the screws through. so i had to redrill hem slightly larger to put the screws in. then i noticed the cables to run the mower and also to run the self propelled were very long so i had to take cable ties to tighten them more closely to o the handle as one of them were rubbing against the rear wheel which in time would rub throguh the cable. it did start on the first pull though. i have used it yet but if it is like the prior one i had i will love it. like in other reviews the lst one i had the rear height bracket broke and i had to pay to get it welded. after another 2 yrs the same thin happened. i am hoping this one does not do the same thing. you would think the co. would correct this serious flaw.

Mowers Great but Briggs motor is poorly designed
the must not have bent the tabs over that hold the muffler bolts So the muffler fell off Trying to stack a choke manifold a shield 4 gaskets and a muffler Line all up and trying not to strip the threads out is a chore They could have remedy by using studs on the motor and it would be easy to reattach Next Time a Honda motor no more Briggs crap

This mower Sucks
This mower sucks. Have had it for two years, probably used 8 times and it no longer works. The bagging function on this mower is a worthless feature; has been from day one.
