Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy! I’ve mostly used Werner ladders but then I discovered Louisville and I have to say, compared to the Werner they go up and down with ease! If your in a position you need to lock it you can! I get the ones with the handles at the top which are awesome! Very well built!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design I’m not exactly sure,but I’m sure it probably had to do with some kind of safety mandate, why the sliding part of the ladder was put on top instead of behind. As a 5’5” tall women trying to get this ladder extended has almost injured me or broken out windows of house. I NEVER had a problem before & it really should not take two people to extend a ladder. If I had known it was like that, I never would have bought it.
