Deck Jig Concealed-Fastener System
Create a better, more-beautiful deck with the Kreg® Deck Jig. This concealed-fastening system works together with Kreg Deck Screws to allow you to install decking without visible fasteners, so all you see is the beauty of your decking instead of a bunch of screws. The Deck Jig features hardened-steel guides to drill precisely positioned pilot holes, and to guide Deck Screws to attach decking from the edge solidly and invisibly whether you're using solid-wood or composite deck boards. The Deck Jig makes drilling the stepped pilot holes and driving screws easy in all situations thanks to three hardened-steel guides one at 90 degree to the board edge, and two at opposing 45 degree angles that allow easy access when working near walls, as well as when creating strong joints where boards butt together end to end. The stepped drill bit creates a perfectly positioned pocket hole and clearance hole for the Kreg Deck Screw, while a stop collar ensures prefect drilling depth.
- Concealed\-fastener system for installing deck boards
- Easy-grip handle gives you a secure hold and complete control over each and every joint
- Hardened-steel drill guides keep the stepped drill bit and driver bit at the precise, optimal angle
- Handy spacer rings ensure accurate deck board spacing for proper drainage and longer deck life
- Three hardened-steel drill guides let you install deck boards in a variety of hard-to-reach areas
- Kreg hardened-steel drill guides feature a lifetime warranty

Rated 5 out of 5 by Randall from Deck Looks Good I used this on my 20' x 12' deck. I used about 1,400 screws. Some stripped. The ones that wouldn't fit nicely in the Jig, you just have to push down as you drill and they go through. Push hard when you screw them in and you won't have much problem. With that many screws, I bought some gel knee pads that worked great. It took me 3 weeks and 2 weekends to screw all those in, working evenings and weekends. I mis-calculated and had to order more screws twice. Fortunately they shipped them very fast. I never thought it would take that many screws. I built my joists very close. None more than 11" apart. Many were 8" and 9" apart. So that is why I needed so many screws. I wanted a strong deck. Worked pretty good. The deck looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clint N. from Tiger Wood Deck I built a deck a few years ago with Tiger wood and the Kreg Deck jig and screws. the old deck had screws thru the top and were backing out. The screws on the new deck are staying put and it's easy to walk on bare foot. I'm very happy that I used the Kreg products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bill H. from Deck jig failure I bought the deck jig to rebuild my deck that was quite old. After about 3/4 of the job, a screw lock up in the jig and spun the steel cylinder out of the jig. Of course, Kreg does not sell just the guides so I have to buy the entire jig again to complete my project. I do like the way the jig works, but will probably never use another Kreg product again. Poor workmanship

Rated 1 out of 5 by Peter from Screws do not fit the jig Needed to fix a few boards on a deck where a clip type hidden fastener was failing. The Kreg deck screws designed for use with the Kreg Deck Jig do not fit through the guides. Not a hard design to get right - points to some quality control issues.
