Use with 8ah batt.
I had older established hedges completely overgrown by several years with the help of my 13 yr old son cut and removed 4 large residential trailer (4'×6') reducing height from over 6' to3' in 1.5hr.when could get into larger limbs the trimmer could not handle my backup was dewalt Sawzall DCS382 ATTACHED TO A 5 AH. BATT. BOTH TOOLS AND BATT. PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY AFTER TOTAL USAGE BATT. STILL READ FULL WONDERFUL PRODUCT WOULD RECCOMEND TO ANYONE IN TRADES OR RESIDENTIAL .

Also used as a chain saw.
I used this hedge trimmer as a chain saw to cut down a tree. Worked awesome. I then was easily able to cut the branches of the logs for kindling. It even took care of the stump using it on the side.

Nice tool no blade sheath
This tool does a nice job and replaces my hard to start gasoline powered trimmer. Only 4 stars because there is no protective sheath for the blades when the unit is not being used.

Great Hedge Trimmer!
I am converting from a gas-powered trimmer with all the attachments, to the DEWALT 60V Max system with a few attachments. One attachment is the Articulating Hedge Trimmer which is a great piece! I am able to cut a large number of shrubs in a very short time, however, I am not able to groom the hedges the way I want so I got the 20V Max hedge Trimmer. This trimmer is great! Light weight and I am able to groom the hedges so smooth and use the 60V Max batteries that I already have. This is a must have to trim all the hedges on my property! The only negative is it did not come with a sheath for the blade but I will make do. I highly recommend this trimmer and all DWALT tools!!!

This hedge trimmer is easy to use. It is light enough that you can use it until the job is done. Batteries last awhile when fully charged. Cuts through the hedges like butter.

Used the hedgetrimmer as soon as it was delivered. Trimmed up our lilac hedge super fast. Lots of power and eady to maneuver. Easily cuts up to 3/4" branches. 6 ah battery only used one bar for 50' of hedge.

Great hedge trimmer
Light weight depending on you battery size. cuts just about everything from Crepe Myrtles to saw grass. Perfect for small hedges. no cords to cut. Only downside is when you get baretool there is no cover sheath on this one like what came with the baretool pole hedge trimmer. But I highly reccommend this for any landscaping business.
