Better than expected
I replaced my gas mower last year with this unit. I have a 1/4 lot and this does a good job and finishes with a little battery to spare. It doesn't really like wet grass, but what mower really does. It's quite and the unit folds up nicely. My only fear is that replacing the 10ah batteries will be more expensive than buying a new unit.

Do Not Buy
Just came back from my first attempt mowing my lawn with this mower. Wellll...the lawn is half a
mowed and the batteries are back in the charger. Run time was about 20-25 min which is terrible. I have less than a quarter acre but mowing it with this unit is a two day project. I purchased the unit because of Dewalt's reputation for quality. Tradesmen love their products. Its a shame that Dewalt sullied its reputation by putting out such a weak performer. They should have just stayed away from this market versus putting out a me too weak offering. I was looking forward to buying a cut off wheel and sawzall all from Dewalt since I would have many batteries for larger projects but No Way now. This may be okay if you have a tiny strip of lawn but stay away from it otherwise.

Disappointing
This mower doesn’t have enough power to blow grass into the basket. It does not pick up any leaves and/or sticks that might be in the grass. My mistake for purchasing

Great mower for what it is
PROS: very light compared to a gas mower, very agile, battery life on a 1/3 acre yard at 3" cut height was wonderful, very efficient and quiet
CONS: light front end means it can nosedive on hills

Don’t buy this mower
This is a great mower - when it works. Two times within one year the mower simply does not run. No warning. Batteries fully charged. It worked perfectly three days ago. Today it simply does not run. The battery indicator lights light up, but nothing else happens. The DeWalt repair service was great. They paid shipping charges both ways and the repair didn’t cost me a dime. But today the very same problem occurred. Rugged . . . Yeah, right.

Great mower with two minor issues
Mower cuts great, easy to set up and use (although the manual could be more specific about the key), battery is much preferable to gas. Claim of up to 70 minutes run time seems right. I’ve gone 65 minutes and still had some juice left. Two minor issues: 1) I always put the batteries in their chargers after mowing and leave them there until next time. Once, although the charger showed that charging was done, that battery conked out after 15 minutes and had to be recharged. (The other one was fine.) Since then, I’ve verified charge status with the indicators on the batteries rather than the chargers and all’s been okay. I recommend doing this in case anyone else has the same issue, where the charger shows a full charge but the battery isn’t full, maybe because it wasn’t completely seated in the charger. 2) On very hot days (over 90 degrees) the batteries can overheat and shut down until they cool off. I assume that’s inherent to the technology so it’s not a flaw in the batteries but a fact of life. Just try to mow when it’s not so hot out! Overall, very satisfied with this mower. It seems well made and is a pleasure to use. I prefer owner-propelled over self-propelled and this one is easy to maneuver. Kind of early to rate durability though!

Dead Battery makes a useess mower
I bought this mower in April and by July one of the two 10AH batteries is faulty. It will not charge and thus the mower will not run. total waste of money
