Priceless and time saving
I don't ever want to be without this fantastic tool! I have used it for the last 2 years to measure out the placement of both current and new ethernet, sound and electric placement in our historic church that was built in the 1860's. It is wonderful to get accurate measurement of ceiling beams, between walls and even wall thicknesses.

Metric?
Did I just buy this device assuming that it the setting can convert to metric and degree/percent slope - and it can't? It looks like a good product, but this is a show stopper... I would recommend if this wasn't important to the user...

Question ?
I was wondering if anyone could answer a question. I want to measure from the ground to metal ductwork above but the duct is only 2mm thick (the open end of a vertical duct hanging from the ceiling). Does this tool have the capability to lock onto a point that small and provide a measurement?

Lacking an Important Measurement Capability
This is a great laser Measuring tool with good features. It is well built and easy to use but it is lacking an important measuring capability. If you want to measure the length between 2 horizontal points without access to any of those points, this tool can not do that. For example, you can not measure a length of a roof gutter from standing on the ground. Using the tool as is you need to be at one of the end points of the gutter which means going up a ladder which either defeats the purpose of the tool or not possible to go up 30 feet! Often there is a need to be able to measure a horizontal length without having a physical access to the object. But this is a relatively easy software enhancement since the tool can already make the required measurements to calculate the desired length by the Pythagorean Theorem (a² + b² = c²). This can be done by adding another icon to the indirect measurement menu and make either a 2 or 3 distance measurements from where you stand. I wish this tool could do that!

Great tool to have with few fixes

Bluetooth Feature is Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased and used to measure outdoor features of a house including roof height. Really liked the bluetooth feature that links directly to ios app to record measurements. The only problem I have encountered so far is measuring exterior features on a sunny day--hard to see the laser point in the sun. Otherwise, great tool and easy to use especially for one person.

Superbly accurate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned my laser measuring device for over a year now. Friends in the construction business had always bragged on their run of the mill devices until I put them in their place. I especially love the feature of calculating square footage using the measurements taken. The ample measurement history is also another great feature I enjoy.
