Rated 5 out of 5 by Fulltimesweety from Long running and perfect size to bring anywhere We purchased this because it wasn't practical to bring our large air compressor around to jobs and we were very pleased with the performance of this air compressor. It works just as well as our corded one and it's convenient and use to carry around. We use this on job sites when we need tonuse our pneumatic tools and we are very impressed with the longevity of this product. We won't be toting around a large compressor or settling for a inferior smaller one from another brand. This is the best out there and I would recommend to anyone who needs durability and reliability for their job applications.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Soya from Worked One Time Second time I used it, there was a funny sound and now it won't build pressure. Can't feel air escaping anywhere. To get it fixed I have to pay shipping one way on a tool I've used for maybe 2 minutes. Swell.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Brian D from Disappointing Thought this would be a good idea for the outbuilding/shop to do basic stuff like air up tires, blowing off tractor/mower decks, etc. You'll need more that one battery as you use to a battery pretty quick so make sure you have a spare or two. I guess expecting just to use it for airing up tires and the such was unrealistic as it runs pretty much all the time. Can't see how this would be any good for anything but the very basic stuff. Maybe I just have a bad one but very disappointed and probably should have went with something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SUPRAPM from Great Idea, but poor on performance Purchased in March 2021, used 5 or 6 times, went to use this past weekend with a full battery and it doesn't do a thing, I thing, I have read other reviews, something is off on this I wish someone would make a video of why this happening to so many folks. I didn't buy the corded version because I wanted something cordless and small, may have to go to corded, sending out to repair place for fixing now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by latrobe11 from Meets the Needs I bought it for, BUT....... So to be clear, I purchased this little compressor solely for shooting up trim. Within the last year I bought brand new air 16ga, 18ga, and pin nailers. For that reason alone, I could not justify dumping them because the newer battery nailers were out. I prefer air, and so I decided if I wanted to be somewhat 'cordless' this was the compromise. The compressor works and functions just fine. It seems reliable, has worked as should, it is quiet enough, (For an air compressor) and it has met my needs. I would have given this little guy a 5 star if it were not for the length of time it takes to initially fill up and refill. I will say that I have seldomly had to sit and 'wait a second or so' to have it fill up to set a nail, but it does kick on very often. Look I get that the machine is only 2 gallon, however, I believe due to the length of time it takes to fill up, it is set to begin that stage earlier. In order to not lose the tank pressure to set an 18 ga brad nail. Those 2 points would really be my only complaints to the non 5 star rating. Otherwise, I still use it on all my jobs, it is lightweight, and it has my nailers functioning as it should. I may put all dewalt products on a 5 star expectation always, and just think since most of my tools are almost 5 star quality, I was hoping this would be as well. May not be the Homerun ball, but definitely a triple....

Rated 5 out of 5 by DewaltBuilder from A must have I bought this a few months back hesitantly since I already had a 8gal hotdog compressor that was fairly newer but all my finish guns are still pneumatic and it's main use to was to help cordless those somewhat instead of replace working tools with cordless options. Well fast forward to this winter and I had a few roofing/framing/siding projects come up and my hotdog compressor from a lesser brand decided to give up the fight 3/4 way through a siding project. This compressor not only bailed me out in a jam and finished the siding project, but also framing as well! Now with that said, this is only a 2.5gal tank and IS NOT intended to run heavy demand tools like a roofing/framing nailer or it will cycle and probably wear the motor quite a bit faster. Story here is this is a quality very well made and thought-out tool. I also liked that it is light weight enough to still be convenient, takes up next to no room in the truck, and doesn't use hardly any battery to notice. I've used with a 6ah and 12ah flex battery and both batteries have lasted longer than me on any given work day. Truly delivered with this product and thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hammer251 from OMG LOVE IT !!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used DeWALT tools for a long time, For about 26 years to be close to exact. I use them on an everyday basis from doing kitchen remodels to building decks and of coarse everything in between Since I bought my very first DeWalt 5 piece combo pack (18 volt Drill, Screw gun, Sawzaw, Trim saw and a gooseneck flashlight with the nicad batteries) I had never lost confidence with Dewalt I have bought many more Dewalt Cordless tools over the years building my arsenol. Even though I still have many 18 volt pieces left that still work, I have started updating my cordless collection about 8 years ago to the 20 volt and the 20 volt XR with the lithium ion batteries. Very Pleased with and have even started buying the flexvolt Tools & batteries. I don’t mind spending the money when I have it. Because I know that the investment will pay itself back Bottom line is these tools have made my jobs work every time, I will stick with Dewalt I would recommend to anyone Thanks Dewalt for many years of excellent service.
