[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this projector is really cool..it makes so many different holiday options pop up right on your home! So easy to assemble and set up. My kids absolutely love it and it makes for really easy decorating for any holiday of the year. I'd buy another one.

Disappointed
This thing is terrible. If you have it plugged into a timer you have to turn it on manually every the time it switches power on. IMO it’s a total waste if you use it on a timer in your yard.

Mildly Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this product for a few weeks now but have only had the opportunity to use it indoors to test it out as it wasn't time for any holiday decorations just yet. In the past I have owned several similar products that only project a single type of image, and this product seems to me of vastly higher quality. However, I'm disappointed that I have to project in all four colors with every slide of images. The colors are the very standard red, green, white, and blue, which are nice for the Christmas images, they just don't really work for Halloween or New Years for me.
Overall the quality is higher than other outdoor image projection systems and projects a nice image on the side of a house and/or garage. But if you don't want to project all four colors you might be mildly disappointed like I was.

Wonderful graphics and exceptional clarity!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just starting off using this product setup was super fast and had very detailed instructions. When I hooked up the projector outside, I tried both ways of displaying- staking it in the ground and on it's mini tripod. Both ways worked and stayed perfectly in the place I put them.
The real magic though was when I turned it on. The pictures moved in a perfect circle, were very clear, and the couple variations in speed were an added bonus. I already plan to use this for all the holidays coming up that were included which were Halloween, Christmas, and New Years.
Worth every penny when you buy it!

Only Christmas Colors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Startastic Holiday- Halloween & Christmas Outdoor Motion Slide Projector. I was quite disappointed for several reasons. The main reason that I was disappointed was that there are only Christmas colors, even though there are Halloween designs. Another disappointment was that if the projector is to far away from the house, the images look distorted and blurry. The Projector is cute for Christmas, but that is the only holiday that the colors seem to correspond with. .

Fantastic StarTastic pack for the Holidays!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited when I got this product in the mail since I’ve been wanting to try one of these. I was especially elated when StarTastic came out with a special Holiday pack.
What’s Inside?
Inside the box were the main projector unit, adaptor, stake, tripod, instruction manual and the 12 Holiday slides (5 Christmas, 5 Halloween, 2 New Years)
Assembly
It was very easy to assemble even if an instruction manual wasn’t provided. Although, it could be very helpful especially with the provided diagrams. I appreciate that it includes safety instructions since after all, this is still an electrical equipment. The stake can be quite hard to insert into the tripod, though. When used indoors, the tripod has stability issues as sometimes it can’t bear the weight of the projector. Outdoors, the stake inserted into the ground provides perfect stability.
Operation
The unit has one button on top and a slide slot on the side. The button cycles through different modes: pressing it once for high speed, twice for low speed and thrice to make a non-motion display. Pressing it for the fourth time turns it off. The slide cartridge holds the slide in place.
Pros:
- Small machine, big projection
- Can be used both indoors and outdoors
- 12 holiday slides!
Cons:
- not a fan of the tripod (wish it could be more stable when used indoors, maybe add a rubber grip to the foot)
- adaptor wire is short, a longer wire would be advantageous in outdoor settings
Overall, I think this product is awesome and I’m still happy I got it mainly because of the variety of slides included. The ease of operation makes it perfect to have a “different” holiday decoration every day!

Great projections
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to simplify holiday decorations. It’s was easy to set up and use, the projections are bright and clear. There are 12 different cards to choose from to personalize your decorations. 5 for Christmas, 5 Halloween and 2 New Years. I would recommend this if you’re tired of the same old lights and want some fun, moving decorations.
