Replacing existing insinkerator
Very easy installation. I replaced a 26 year old insinkerator disposal with a new badger 5 and it was an exact fit!

Easy to install
When my old one stopped making the loud noise and started leaking, I thought it was going to be a nightmare. I ordered a comparable model since my unit was no longer made and upgraded to a larger motor. The new unit installed within 20 minutes (10 minutes of that time to watch you tube videos). The new unit is actually quieter than the original.

Great disposal
Upgrade my kitchen and replaced disposal since I wanted everything new. This replaced a 7-year-old model (same brand and HP). The old one worked great but like I said I wanted everything new. Great price, quality and ease of installation.

Easy direct replacement
Bought this insinkerator to replace one we have had for 11 years. It had developed a small water leak on the bottom. Removed and replaced in 15 minutes. Just remember if installing with dishwasher to remove the knockout plug.
