Perfect paintbrush!

I’ve used Purdy for years as a professional painter and they simply are the best. As long as you keep the bristles clean they can last for years. Perfect for precision cutting-in and larger areas too! The angle is just right. Love them, cannot say it enough!

Great Brush

The XL is angled for easy cut in and always gives a smooth finish. If your looking for a great paint brush I would recommend a Purdy brush.

Its ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried these brushes many times over the years. In my earlier days I swore by this brush. I was introduced to some other brushes and prefer those much better over these. I recently tried this brush again using a SW paint and halfway through had to switch to my other brush. There is some personal preferences for sure but I just think there are better brushes over these if you do professional work. I do keep one of these on my truck as they are good for certain uses or applications but for regular latex paint applications I will stick with my other brush.

Highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im very happy with the job this painters brush did on my basement steps. They were a weird blue/grey color and always made them look so dirty even after being scrubbed. So I painted them white. Even without using primer, between the new paint and this brush I had a solid coat and could hardly see the cement color underneath.

With the top edge at a taper, it was very easy to paint in corners and above trim without getting paint where I did not want it. The brush held paint very well. It also cleaned up very well allowing it to be used again like a new brush.

It soaks up the paint great and has a sturdy stroke when used for cutting in. They wash and reuse better than any brand I've ever tried. After over 10 years of using Purdy, I wouldn't recommend any other brush.

Great paint brush for projects
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am putting this xl paint brush to good use. I am painting the antique table that used to belong to my grandparents. They used it for their telephone. I mainly use antique table for my Christmas tree and for photo frame. I am painting the table my brush works very well I’m very happy with it. Highly recommend and please use newspaper under your project. Make sure to open a few windows to ventilate the room.

They are great for cutting around the baseboards light switches and door knobs and small areas and hard to get places. They are easy to clean out and they hold the right amount of paint. They don't soak up the paint like some do. I would definitely recommend the purdy brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used purdy paint brushes because in my opinion they are the absolute best. This brush is no different. I cut all my windows and trim with this brush and it was done flawlessly. Not because of me. The brush! Only problem I noticed with when cutting the ceiling it really wanted to drip when I got to the last wall and I was not going overboard with how much paint I was using.

Best brush out there!

2 1/2” angled sash brush for a weekend painting project, and I wasn’t disappointed! Cut in was a breeze and my lines are crisp and true. The paint flows off the brush so beautifully it does all the work for you. Clean up was easy also with warm water. I highly recommend using Purdy brushes.

This brush worked great on our wall in the corners for hard to reach areas using a roller. This brush also worked great on the base boards as well as our bathroom door.

A very good brush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of these brushes for many years. If taken care of they last for many years. Being a painter from many years ago, we would take and use this type of brush on the outside surfaces to break it in before using it inside. Although you don't need to break it in, it works quite well and cuts a very straight line. I highly recommend this brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When your painting, your paint brush makes a big difference. This is a great cut in brush. I like the size and the angle of the brush. When I’m painting I never tape off. This brush glides smoothly across where I’m cutting in. You need a study hand and a good brush, and washes out easily for the next job. I would recommend this XL glide brush for inside and outside jobs.

paintbrushes is one the best paintbrushes on the market. A Purdy paintbrush allows you to control the paint better and cut in sharper lines. And as long as you keep the brush clean, it will last for years. The last thing you want to do is buy a good quality paint and then try painting with a cheap paintbrush. Invest in high quality Purdy paintbrushes to paint with just like you would invest in high quality tools to do other jobs.

Very good paint brush

I would always recommend putting the brush folded up in a paper towel it will always come out soft when you use it again
