Rated 1 out of 5 by PLSCH from useless I had only 12 screw holes to fill on white trim. I managed to get one filled, even though the tip of the applicator was too large for the hole. The remaining 11 are only partially filled. Compared to regular wood filler, this stuff is dry and crumbly. I only hope that it can be sanded, because it wasn't possible to remove the excess with a rag.

Rated 2 out of 5 by frank12 from Poor Applicator, Good Product I think the product itself is good and color matching can always be a challenge so you just have to find the best one. My problem is with the applicator. If you have a big job, like I recently did with installing wood molding in a house, that applicator can be a pain. To get a good finish with this product, you have to press hard and work it into the nail holes followed with a good hard hand rubbing with a rag or folded paper towel to remove the excess, smoothing flush and blend. You can't have very much exposed past the paper, otherwise it will easily break off when you press hard. The paper unwrapping feature did not function very well for me and there was no instructions provided. You can only get about three nail holes before you had to stop and expose just a little more for the next group of nail holes. This paper unwrapping was hard to control for the small amount you want exposed before it becomes unstable when trying to apply with the required pressure you need to get a good finish. Otherwise it does a good job of concealing with a good color match and will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Magic pencil [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When moving, the once piece of furniture I cared the most about was damaged. It fell from the moving truck and had a 3 inch long scratch a few mm deep, pretty obvious, right in the center of the headboard. I was quite leery about this pencil, but it blended nicely, the color is spot on, and it looks so much better! Thanks minwax for a simple and easy to use, inexpensive fix!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tommyjai from Great for concealing small imperfections [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few white painted wooded radiator covers around the house and with two active toddlers the covers have taken quite the beating. I used this Minwax Blend-fil Pencil to conceal some of the nicks and dents in the living room and am pretty impressed with the outcome. I had thought about re-painting the covers but this little pencil is going to save me a bunch of money and time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JoeP from Quick fix for small projects [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I am quite impressed by this little tool, it has definitely surpassed my expectations. So far I have used it to patch up some nail holes and basic wear and tear on the corners of some of our walls. It's so easy to use and it so fast. The color is nearly perfect for anything that is even close to white, our walls have a tint of blue and are not white white. You will know its there but no one else would even notice, I had a hard time myself finding the nail hole i patched just to show my wife. The colored wax builds up upon itself as you keep going over it so it forms to any shape and size you're using it on. I like that it's easy to just pull the string to access more instead of having to deal with any kind of sharpening tool and losing some of the product itself in the process. This pencil has become a great help around the house and keeps our small repairs very simple. This will also be a much cheaper alternative rather than replacing or repainting whole areas or walls. Very happy with the results and can't wait to keep up with the honey-do list a little easier now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cturner from Not bad [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an ok product for minor little touch ups but it's a little difficult to get an exact color match. Not bad for small scrapes and scratches. Wouldn't recommend for large repair projects. It is a good product though. I do like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alisha585 from Works great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You ever have a small hole in your wall and don’t want to repaint to fix it? This pencil is a miracle worker and will repair and reasonable hole or scratch. It makes it look like it was never there. Perfect for people that rent and hang up pictures or for college kids. Definitely recommend and a cheaper way to fix an easy fix.
