It yellows just like oil based poly
I have used water based oil modified poly for several years. I spray it on my furniture projects using a r500 LVLP spray gun and a 2HP 30 gallon compressor. I like this product because it does yellow a little just like oil based poly.

A “total use” product.
I’ve been working with your Oil Polyurethane, and also the Water based Acrylic for several years. But always used separately.I bought a gallon of the Oil modified Water based product. I’m amazed! ‘Cause it’s Water it seems to penetrate the wood deeper. This allows for a better sanding process. After quick drying. And “bringing our the color” as well as the Oil product had done.. I grade it a “best of both worlds” product and see no reason now not to use it as a single “beginning, follow-up, and finish/top coat” product. You aced it with this Hybrid.

1 star for low VOC, anything else terrible :-(
What a nightmare to work with this product!!!
Impossible to create a perfect finish coat with this terrible product.
I have tried foam applicators, and synthetic brushes, with the same bad results.
BAD: it dries too fast, impossible to coat a larger area with one end to be drying already before you finish the other end??!!!
BAD: it does not self-level, any small drip from the brush or small heavier coat of this polyurethane left from the brush along the edge will not level, and will leave water marks that have to be sanded and the whole piece coated again.
BAD: it does not self level and thus more coats will not necessarily result in better finish, on the contrary, more coats will create more imperfection, making the final result worse :-(
BAD: it does not seal the wood well.. even after 3 coats with a brush, air bubbles appear in many areas of the surface.. even though, every coat has been lightly sanded with 320-grid paper..
JUST BAD... and will not buy again!!!!

Dried so fast that it left all of the brush marks
I had to sand between every coat on a large super smooth walnut slab. It dried with so many brush marks left that I had to resend with 400 grit to get it flat again. I tried a temp of 60° and 70° with the same results. Never had that problem with regular water based Minwax poly.

EXCELLENT FOR WOOD FLOORS
First I want to say that as a professional wood flooring refinish contractor myself, I personally "Love this product!" . It is durable, easy to use, self leveling, and cost effective. It allows me to do all my coats (3) , in 1 day. this makes me money. This product is also great for it's low odor. Customers are overjoyed that there are no heavy fumes like a traditional polyurethane

Love this product
I am making a red oak table and have used regular poly in the past. This one is amazing, it is easy and clean to apply. You just need to make sure you don't apply it too thick. Unlike other polyurethane I have used in the past this one didn't drip at all. Very easy to use and even easier to clean up with water and soap.

Not a good product for first timers.
Having had a good bit of experience finishing wood I decided to try this product as an alternative to Polycrylic for a more durable finish for a barnwood halltree closet. The appearance of the finishes are similar. When they tell you to apply thin coats they aren't kidding but that being difficult on spalled and weather worn barnwood. Areas came out cloudy after the first coat. Sanded them wire brushed them out and recoated. So first coat on rough wood don't expect to coat some deep grooved areas as you would be applying too thick a coat and get cloudy areas in the finish.Really play the brush out to spread out the finish thin. Also use an artist brush to coat the deep cracks and nail holes as not to over apply the finish with too full a brush. Also you have to work quickly as not to get brush marks. Have a bucket of water handy to lightly moisten the brush tip to feather out brush marks. Work a section at a time and only apply in a linear fashion to keep a wet edge finish line avoiding brush marks cause it dries really quick. Got easier the second coat and after the learning curve. It did turn out beautiful.. But.. Don't know if I would use this product again. Came close to ruining a years worth of woodworking.Thank goodness I caught on quick.
