Rated 1 out of 5 by from What did you do??? I have used this product for twenty years with only the occasional limited shrinkage till a month ago. SOMETHING has changed drastically. I am a professional installer of windows and used this product on the interior gap between the window frame and drywall with an average gap of 1/8 inch. I have gone back to some customers houses 3 times now !!!!! and it still cracks. They think I am an idiot and has cost me business not to mention the 15 or so cases of caulk thats been wasted and 10 more I don't trust using anymore. Most other install crews I know have the same issue. ANYTHING has got to be better than this "stuff" now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Does not stick when trying to lay a bead, 1/4 just falls off. I am throwing the whole tube in the garbage. I will not use this product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DAP wood patch is the BEST! I've used DAP plastic wood many times, always with excellent results, I decided I should probably write a review. Recently I was renovating my travel trailer camper and the interior walls had extensive water damage around the back & side windows. I used DAP to fill and smooth the large holes & cracks. It took a couple days, several layers and a bit of sanding in between but the end result was absolutely phenomenal! When dry, this product is harder & more durable than the actual wood itself. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st go to product for all my exterior windows and doors I really like this product but I am tired of painting the caulk. I checked out the choices available and unfortunately, wicker (aka sandstone) is not an option and this is a very common colour for windows. Will try to tint myself as I have all the prime colours for paints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like the price and durability - plus has silicone I am using on old red cedar lap siding. Covers gaps ok! Using on nail sets with spackle or plastic wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracks This stuff would be great if it was reliable (imo). It is very easy to clean/maintain, and the silicone is an added bonus for waterproofing and flexibility. I am still dumbfounded, after using multiple tubes indoors to seal my windows, trim, and doors, to find 2 weeks later that 90% of it cracked. Wasted money and several hours of application... will NEVER buy a dap product agaib

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away. I've been using this product for at least 25 years. On our last job, we kept having consistent problems with the paint cracking/withdrawing (I would not really call it a crack, because it withdraws as it drys, forming what appears to be a crack). This has happens all of the time with caulks, but I've never seen anything like this - about 50% of all joints are affected. We've bought the caulk from two different venders with different batch numbers, so it appears to be a problem with the caulk itself. I will never use this product again, and I'd advise others not to too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought two cases...... Bought two cases to do my exterior trim around windows and doors. Applied in 78 degree farenheit weather with 20% humidity between vinyl windows and pre primed spruce trim, let dry for 22 days before painting and every single joint cracked. The gaps were 1/8" wide or less. I'm thoroughly disappointed in this caulking. Not to mention there where air bubbles in the middle of every tube.
