It is good size and usually carries what I need on the many small trips I make. the one problem I have with it is that when I carry a heavier load (like a melon or a six pack of pop), the Velcro fastener does not hold the basket to the stem, and it bounces down onto the fender. It only rubs a little, so I am not concerned with it, but I wish it had a better fastener to keep the basket up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is just brilliant! I love this basket. They had it in stock at my local TrueValue store. What a great design! It is bracketed against the frame as well as on the handlebars and the whole basket lifts out by the handle, so at the store or farmers' market, I only buy what will actually FIT in the basket! And the basket lifts out again at home to carry inside. Just a great, great idea. So pleased. Thank you also to my local TrueValue for having an on-site Bike Doctor.
