What is the pointed end for??
Packaging sucks. No clue what the pointed tip is for. Read the entire bottle and there are zero instructions on how to open it. There is a number 1 in an arrow on the screw top (or bottom in this case) and a number 2 in a triangle on the pointed end with HDPE under it. Do we cut the point off? Where is a good spot to cut? 1/4”? 1”? I had to Google it only to find this site that has a photo of the point inserted in a hole. How do you seal the bottle once the tip is cut off? Very poor instructions for something so incredibly toxic to animals! Do better Tom Cat!

doesn't do much
Stuff didn't work. Bought 4 containers over a few weeks. Followed the directions perfectly.. I actually wondered if this was like Mole FOOD with steroids because the tunneling got worse,,,saw a lot of action by the TOMCAT 'bait' but those area's stayed infested until I got frustrated and finally just waited them out and 'liberated' them the old fashioned way with patience and a shovel.
Don't waste your time or money

I think I’m feeding then
I couldn’t get the mole poison I was using that was very effective. So I got this stuff. So far I have been through 3 containers trying to kill two moles.

Highly dangerous
I can’t believe that this product Is even sold it is so dangerous. My dog dug out a rock and got a tiny bit of this product and was terribly sick. The gas that this forms is extremely dangerous to people

Still to be determined
After reading the comments on this website I thought it might be helpful for me to post my experience. I bought two of the yellow missiles to try and get rid of a gopher that is doing a great deal of damage. The first container of the product was most likely wasted as I now realize I was not placing it in the correct location . I have now realized that I was putting the bait in ground that was extremely soft and went down a couple of inches but it was in fact not a runway… . I use a weed grabber which is used to get weeds out of the ground (a long metal pole with a handle and a sphere shape with a point on the other end) to push down in the soil (no bending needed ) It works quite nicely for establishing where the actual runway is and i dont need to keep bending up and down . My first assumption was that the runway must be right near the mound around the edges. Although the ground is quite soft and you can push down a couple of inches , it isn’t the runway . The first container of the product Was placed a few inches down in soft soil….as far down as it would go. It wasn’t until applying the second container of the product and I actually hit a runway that I realized I wasted the first container….
Now after enough time prodding the ground I know that the runway path is not directly next to the mounds and it can be 6 to 8 inches farther away. And as the Tomcat representative has mentioned , you will know when you hit a runway because the ground is soft but firm and all of a sudden drops quickly. Today I have put bait in actual runways (near new mounds) and i am keeping my fingers crossed for success.
Good luck!

Tom Cat mole killer
I used this product and it seemed to work but only in part. I'm wondering if my problem is not just moles. From what I understand, Voles make similar runs. Can you comment on that? I would be willing to increase my rating if I could resolve my problem.
