Good unit - my 2nd one over the years. It would last a ‘life-time’ if the frame/wheels held out. However, cook box and grates stand the test of time.

Faulty Regulators
After having the grill a little over a year I'm already on my 3rd regulator. The first one failed to light after a few months. The second leaked all the propane out of my tanks, I could smell the propane with all the knobs off.
I'd like to say they had great warranty service but I can't. Each time calling they can't find any of my personal information. The last time I called they told me they could not replace the regulator unless it was visibly damaged. With persistence they finally did send me a new one and no more leak.
If you buy this grill the regulator will fail. And soon after purchasing.

Impressive
I have been a Weber fan for years, I made the investment in a 6 burner summit about 10 years ago and have enjoyed it from day 1. Recently in the COVID travel restraints we purchased a 2nd home and needed a dependable grill, not wanting to make the investment in another summit I choose the Genesis II realizing in all probability it would not match my experience with the summit. As I assembled the grill I began to notice similarities with the summit and in some instances improvements. Needless to say the finished product is magnificent. A true pleasure to use and it looks good on the patio too!
