Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shovel I’ve had mine for about 6 years. I shovel more than most people. When it snows I will shovel out whole neighborhoods. I love this shovel. Blade is still sharp. Unfortunately mine broke tonight. After major abuse. I got on here to order another. I couldn’t have been happier with this shovel. I plan on getting a couple just so I have some extras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shovel I’ve owned one of these for about 8 years now. Light weight, moves a lot of snow. Always have had nylon strip at the bottom. Slides better for wood decks and doesn’t bend or rust. I got a little rough with it chipping ice away and the back corner broke off. Now I use a flooring scraper for ice and I bought a new power blade to mive the snow. That handles every New Hampshire condition

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is not the shovel you are looking for If you are dealing with even slightly wet snow, it sticks to the blade surface and you have to give it an extra shake. Or do like I did and spray the blade with WD40 every 5 mins. After less than 2 seasons the polycarbonate blade broke. Looks high quality but not worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I had one of these shovels several years ago and loved it. It was light weight with a great leading edge, but it broke after years of use. I could not find the same product in any store. I then started searching on line, found it. Great product if you shovel snow. I've had many snow shovels in my life but this one is expensive but worth it to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Who thought this was a good idea? I had an old Suncast Power Blade for several years before the blade broke on some ice and I loved it. I bought two new ones through the True Value website. True Value put 3 different stickers on the back of the shovel blade that were annoying but came off pretty easily with mineral spirits. But the large sticker Suncast put right on the face of the blade is applied with an adhesive that will not budge unless you use a very fast solvent that also just happens to melt the plastic. Living in Maine I can tell you that snow shoveling is all about getting all the snow off your shovel when you pitch it (thus reducing the weight), and getting all the snow off depends on how smooth and non-stick the face of your blade is. So it is particularly disappointing to have to deal with this particularly badly applied sticker that apparently no one thought about when they made the decision to use it. Also, the metal wear strip that used to be riveted to the front edge of the blade is now nylon. Does it seem like a good idea to chunk into a bunch of ice with a nylon edge? These are the last Suncast products I will ever buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptionally Effective Snow Shovel I live in Massachusetts and so have extensive snow removal experience. I have used many different shovels, and the Suncast Power Blade solves several problems common with other shovels: 1. The Suncast Power Blade pushes or plows snow easily like many other shovels, but is also designed to effectively lift and throw snow. 2. The Suncast Power Blade is remarkably lightweight while being very sturdy. The shaft is thicker than a typical shovel which makes it much easier to grip. 3. The Suncast Power Blade stands up to regular use with no visible signs of wear. If my first Power Blade had not been stolen, I would have had no reason to purchase a second. This snow shovel works so well that I actually get excited to go outside to shovel. I have never said that about any other shovel.
