Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Apply, Puts Dent in the Insect Population [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a few years and it seems to put a pretty good dent in the spiders, ticks, and scorpions on out lot (welcome to Oklahoma!). It's granules, so it's easy to spread and it's safe for plants (though I don't use it in our vegetable garden just to be safe). While it says that it covers 10,000 sq. feet, it recommends 1-3 pounds per 1000 sq. ft depending on how bad your pest problem is or what bugs you're trying to kill. That is, at it's most concentrated, this 10lbs bag covers closer to 3300 sq. feet. After application you do want to water this in thoroughly so it penetrates your soil and kills the bugs below the surface. Overall, I'm happy with this. I have noticeably less spiders around (and in) my home when I use this regularly and the ticks seems to be knocked down some as well. Scorpions are infrequent in my area, so it's hard to say how well this kills them, but it's nice to know it's supposed to help with that problem as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 10lb bag of BioAdvanced Complete Insect Killer for Soil and Turf granules was another one of the BioAdvanced products that I had been hoping to be able to try to out this year and I'm super tickled that I finally have gotten that chance. I've used other BioAdvanced products before & they were fantastic, so I figured this one would do the job for me just as well as the other BioAdvanced products I've used. This was a pretty heavy little package that was shipped to me but it was put into an easy to open box which I really appreciated. Plus it came pretty fast once it was shipped out to me. The packaging for these insect killing granules is really easy to open up. The bag that holds the product is made very sturdy so it won't break when you carry it around to wherever you need it. It's not a huge bag but the bag is full of 10lbs of product. The Insect killing product is little granules that you can easily spread out throughout your yard to have continuous insect killing power!! It actually is supposed to last 6 months each use! So here's to a wonderful bug free yard that lasts the entire spring, through summer into the fall. So I only need to apply it once this year! The 10lbs of granules is going to do 10k square feet of your yard. That's quite a lot of product and a very large space. I really like that it kills so many different types of insects. It first started working above the ground killing all insects, even fleas, that are not down in the soil. Then it starts working on the insects that live under the soil below ground. That's pretty dang impressive honestly. This another great product that BioAdvanced has made & it truly works so well. My cats even go out in the yard and come back inside my house every single day, multiple times a day and I don't have to worry about them bringing any fleas into my house! It's honestly a great product. You can't beat it. It's from a fantastic brand, it works well, it's easy to use and it lasts so long! Plus all the insects that it kills!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more Japanese beetles or grubs A local nursery suggested that I use this for my Japanese beetles and it worked. He recommended applying it on the two holidays, one in Spring (Easter) and in Fall and that’s what I don’t remember. He explained that a Fall application is important as it kills the insects as they emerge from the soil in the Spring. When should I apply the granule in the Fall?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Insect food not killer Bought this because of a YouTube video. When mowing my lawn I noticed a large number of white moths and upon closer inspection, worms. My neighbor said they were army worm and they are larvae for the moths. Also had a gnat issue while mowing. I bought and applied Bioadvanced Lawn Insect killer, per the instructions, and the problem increase 3X what it was. And this stuff definately doent work for 3 months as it has only been 5 weeks since I applied. It fed the bugs and worm instead of killing them. I am highly disappointed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone. I have use Bayer products before and it seems to work fine but something happened with the name change. I would have asked for my money back but I cant find the reciept. UGH!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Granular worked for me Granular got rid of chiggers, applied on Saturday afternoon and the chiggers where gone by Monday afternoon. Will just have to see long it lasts but none of the sprays including the bioadvanced one could get rid of all the chiggers completely so I am very pleased with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me I've battled rose midges for several years with little success. Their live cycle is only about 17 days and most of which is underground. Because of this I need to attack the bug both below and above the ground. I use the granules when my roses first start to leaf out and follow up with the Insect, disease, and mite control about 30 days later. So far no midge damage on my 260 roses. I love this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst bug killer ever! I have a small 1/4 acre lot with a 2000 sq ft house, couple trees, and 16x32 garden. Not even 24 hours after spraying down my property (going through not 1, but 2, 40oz bottles) my garden is infested with slugs, and there are sand flies and mosquitos all over as if I never sprayed at all! Extremely irritated I wasted the hours of labor and gallons of water to apply this product to my, house exterior, lawn, driveway, and garden

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more ticks! I have been using this for a few years. As soon as the deer ticks become active, I apply it on my lawn (late April, early May). With three dogs, in an active deer area, They never get ticks! Love being able to play barefoot in the grass with them! Thanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DOES NOT WORK! Do not buy! It does not work! I have found so many grubs (under my grass later) after applying this product. All of them were alive. I have yet to find any of them dead. I’d like a refund, please!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Volume vs Weight, who weighs products or has a handy garden scale ? This is a pre-review. The dose is given by weight and there appears to be no reference of weight/volume anywhere on the bag and not as yet found on the internet. This seems like a hilarious oversight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bugs are back I bought this last month and applied per specs. Worked for 3 weeks and now ants are back. I bought this to also kill sod webworms and now I see moths coming out of lawn when I mow. Time to get something else.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from spraying problems I live in the UP of Michigan and just sprayed it on a lawn with my 30 gal pull behind sprayer and the problem is that the screens on my unit kept gumming up. There is a screen on the inlet to the pump and one each just before the spray nozzles. I would run 26 gallons through it and would have to clean my screens out. the stuff in them was like gum. Not sure what to do. That's why I gave it a fair review.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Killed ALL the honeybees ! The neighbors girlfriend thought she would surprise him while he was out at sea by spraying his acre which is right next to my well (which is only 25 feet deep) ! Now , there are NO honeybees to be seen ! Thanks a lot for not putting warnings about this containing neonicotinoids which has been proven to be wiping out the bee populations ! I also can't wait to have my well tested in a month or so . This is the second review I posted . Seems the other one was deleted .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Suspected Formula Change I bought 3 bottles of the package that connects to our hose. The plants (flowers, bushes and lawn) on which I sprayed the first bottle have all either died or look very sick and I hope they live. I could understand if it hurting some flowers...but the lawn too?!?! I sprayed it near a large oak tree and I hope that doesn't die. What would cause this?. What should I do to save my lawn since it's just now turning yellow? Is it possible that they bottle was defective because I remember thinking that it emptied really quickly. Could I have given my plants an overdose? If yes, what remedy should I do?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from never worked well for me I live in Florida and follow the direction with liberal application of the Advanced Complete. I buy from a high turn over store so it should be as fresh as reasonable. I have used it at least 3 out of 5 years and it has never worked well for me. I keep using it because I have not found a good product and like religion, I have hopes that it will work someday. It is Feb 23, 2018 and I just bought a 20 lb bag for less than 1/4 acre. This weekend it is going down. PS- I do NOT enjoy gardening and I am very experienced with the St Augustine floratam grass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cause + Effect = Profit Bayer makes poison Bayer makes medicine The sell us both. Why my wife bought this ...? Fancy shiny bottle maybe Besides.... I live in Los Angeles. All you country folks would be suprised of the diverse ecological systems we haven't each of our backyards. This stuff sucks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Non-Effective My yard has a good percentage of sand soil, it is also very humid, I have used the entire bottle as directed and it hasn't had any effect getting rid of the insects. I still have ant hills all over the yard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work! I bought it expecting it to kill the insects and it never killed anything. I think it attracted more insects than before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fine I bought this a month ago. It did nothing to control pests in my garden. Also, has not stopped fungus and mold on my roses. In fact, it killed two of my Daliahs and half my 6 foot high, beautiful Hydrangia. I won't buy this again. I recommend you test it on something you don't mind killing before spraying it on everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Live in an area where we have feral cats running around and our dog goes out comes in covered in fleas even when we go outside on deck they are all over us. I tried everything exterminators are expensive asked friends relative who is an exterminator he recommended Bayer so far no more fleas I spray all around home yard fence and dog goes out comes back wagging tail instead of scratching and biting Thanks Bayer for making a product that works on insects

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did you change formulas? I have been using this for years for chiggars and ticks and it has worked great. One application has lasted all year. This year it only lasted about 2 weeks. Chiggars are eating me up. Did you change formulas?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We have had a bad grasshopper problem in our area the last two years. This year they ate half my garden before it even got started. I sprayed as soon as I got my order and I have seen 3 grasshoppers in the throes of death. Before that it was an ocean of them wherever I walked. Thank you, thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard To Operate! I had used this product years ago, and while it's good to vary products, I came back hoping for a new design for the attachment to a garden hose. The new design is harder to use. It's not easy to understand, and the directions do not help. My roses did benefit, but my thumb is sore!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A little pricey but works! I have used the Bayer Advanced Complete insect killer on my lawn and pathways to fields and barns to kill ticks. It has worked very well for me, only problem I have is I cannot find it in 50 lb bags because I use about 4-500 lbs a year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not take care of lawn ants as promised I used the bagged version and spread it evenly over my front and back yards in early May. Living in SE NC our yard is basically sand. I saw the little mounds multiplying so treated the yards. Followed directions exactly. One section had no new hills until yesterday. Other sections continued to have new mounds. And these are just regular brownish ants, not fire ants. Went outside today and this product definitely did not last three months. I have always used Bayer products with success, but not at our new home. I didn't keep the bag because I never had to before. Disappointed.
