Quiet Model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used the chainsaw part yet but will probably be fine. I did use the engine part and fount it to be a lot quieter than past models. It is easy to start once you can figure it out.

Poor Quality Control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought based on past experience with Troy Bilt Products. Removed from box and checked all parts and adjusted chain tension filled with fuel and bar oil and started unit. Ran very rough and would not stay running. Upon further inspection discovered spark plug was not installed fully and was barely in by half a thread. Properly installed plug and started again still ran rough and needed to adjust carburetor which needs a special tool. Once adjusted tried to trim a few one inch diameter branches and chain fell off. Removed chain guard and noticed there was no retainer clip on the sprocket assembly and the washer was also not installed, found the washer in the bottom of the packaging box and installed a retainer clip from parts I keep on hand. Once I reassembled everything unit seems to work fine but still very disappointed with quality from Troy Bilt may still consider returning and purchasing the competitors product I was also looking at even though it was more expensive.

Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last year for my husband for our anniversary. He loved it. I don’t think I could have bought him anything that he would have enjoyed more than this. It’s so perfect to do trim work. We had a Troy-built Z-turn mower and it lasted for years. Best product on the market. Thanks for making great products. We will continue to buy Troy-built products. ;-)

The TB25PS trimmer with attachments.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it for 5 minutes and starter came apart and jammed the engine. It worked ok for five minutes. Support was helpful and apologetic. Supplied a local service contact for repair/replacement. Will see how that goes.

I was wrong very well built and it’s light I have a fake leg and it’s hard to do yard work this pole saw makes it easy and u will never get a tired pulling the string to start. It started right up with 1 pull after I added gas. Couldn’t be happier
