Good product. Are seeds sterile?
I laid this down this past summer. It's starting to sprout seeds. Are the seed heads that grow from this product sterile?

Bermuda seed takes lots of diligence and water
I had a septic system started in March 2023. The drain field was seeded with rye grass which was only temporary. The machinery destroyed the standing buffalo grass. I put down Scotts Bermuda seed and it took well in all the bare areas, but I didn't cut the rye grass short enough to get germination. I had to go back and scalp it and reseed. Four 8 lb bags of seed and daily watering in stage 2 restrictions. Lots of hours of hand watering. It is pretty well established now and I am just trying to thicken the thin areas before starting to harden it off by reducing the watering.

This product sucks!!!!
I bought this because it says that this item will work great for my area where I live. I did everything Turned the dirt put fertilizer topper and seeds and water every day three times a day this crap seed hasn’t done nothing other then look nice and blue! If I could sue Scott’s for my water bill I would sue them for an item that doesn’t work!

Pleased with progress but wish it looked better.
I had a new construction back hard. After a year, just mostly dirt and a few weeds. I got a soil sample, killed the weeds, tilled the yard, raked away the rocks/straw/plastic liners, spread fertilizer, spread seed, lightly raked over dirt. It's been 3 weeks of 90+ degree heat and only 2 days of light rain for 30 minutes. I water 4 to 6 times per day for 10 minutes per sprinkler. Overly saturated areas near the sprinklers seem to have grown the quickest and thickest. Some days I look out and am pleased with the results and other days I think it's a mess. Overall, it is better than what I had. Hope the pictures help. Planted 6/1 and today is 6/23.
