Rated 1 out of 5 by RNMomOf4 from Killed my new grass sprouts. Never using again. This product fried my tall fescue seedlings. The Crabgrass is fine though! Fried isn't the right word...GRAY AND DEAD describes it better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lake Effect Lawn from Decent results I've used this product before for its excellent starter fertilizer. I had moderate results using it as a pre emergent. I began seeing some crab grass sooner than I had hoped.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Wendy1971 from Not doing the job This is the second Scotts product I have tried that is supposed to control clover. It did NOT. If anything, my clover is flourishing?

Rated 1 out of 5 by WoofWah58 from Stay away from this product! Like others, I tried this due to the fact that i could seed alongside it. One week later, there is a big discoloration in certain areas - grass turned almost white. I have never had this happen with any other Scotts product. I went exactly by the pkg instructions, so it wasn’t a case of over applying it. My lawn is usually the envy of the neighborhood, but this year it isn’t, thanks to this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CS25 from Disappointed Hand dethatched entire lawn in preparation for overseeding and addressing a few bare spots. Used Turf Builder Built for Seeding followed by Sun and Shade mix. Watered in as per instructions. 3+ weeks later practically no new grass. Very disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vinski from Saves Time and works! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this at the start of the season and so far have not seen any crabgrass. Additionally, clover and other weeds have been greatly reduced. Plus my lawn is green. The benefits is having three functions in one product saves me time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jon44 from Would never use again i have been using Scotts products for over 40 years. Neighbors would always comment on how green and thick my lawn was. This year I decided to try the Triple Action Fertilizer, About a week after using it I noticed the grass was changing color to a burnt look in several areas. I called the hot line and was informed that it may have had an adverse reaction to new seedlings coming up, I had seeded in the fall.It doesn't make sense since the bag says built for seeding. I don't want to hear that I may have over fertilized because after all these years I have never had this issue. I hope my lawn will rebound.
