Rated 2 out of 5 by from 4 Step Program v Weed and Feed I used Scott’s 4 Step program in the front of my house and Scott’s weed and feed in the back. I expected the 4 Step program to be the better product. The front of my lawn is covered with weeds and crabgrass. The back yard is mostly grass. Don’t believe the hype. The 4 Step Program is slick marketing but your better off with the traditional weed and feed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burned my lawn I put step 3 on my lawn a week ago. Within 3 days I had multiple huge burn spots. My lawn is ruined

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results I am at step 3 now and the lawn has never looked better. I had a ton of weeds, so I did strep 2 twice, one month apart The neighbors are stopping by asking what I am using! The temp has been 90+ for 3 weeks now and still looking great

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your $ I decided to try the 4 step program this year instead of hiring my normal lawn company. I just applied step 3 but up to this point these products are not good at all as I have weeds all over the place. Every type of weed and a lot of clover spots. My lawn normally is weed free when I hire the company I normally use. Don’t bother to buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Careful: this product burns the grass! Very disappointed so far with Scott's 4-Step Program. I started to use it for the first time this year and, so far, only step 1 proved somewhat effective. Steps 2 and 3 did more harm than good. Step 3, in particular, burned a lot of patches of my lawn. And I followed the instruction to the letter... Certainly not going to use it again next year and will not recommend to friends and neighbors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burned lawn Step 1 worked beautifully, step 2 worked ok, step 3 burned the heck out of my lawn. Never again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scotts Step 3 I bought my 15,000 square foot 4 Step Scott's program in the spring and stored it in my clean dry garage as in past years. Went to put down Step 3 today and it is totally wet and clumped and will not spread with my Scotts broadcast spreader. Obvously the packaging must be inferior and allowed humidity to render it useless. Waste of money! Needs to be packaged properly and it is not my storage that is the problem. The garage is dry and sealed and has no water issues period!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 Step guy A few years ago I decided I'd had enough of the ridiculous Zoysia grass, which doesn't really thrive well in the northeast. I dug it all up by hand, used grass killer and waited to plant grass seed. After awhile, I had a lawn again, but the question was, how shall I fertilize my new lawn? A guy in the garden store turned me onto the Scott's 4 Step program. Right from Step 1 which is applied in early spring, I could see amazing results: thick, lush, green grass and my lawn went from brown disaster to a lawn I can be proud of. Simply follow Steps 2-4 throughout the summer til early autumn. I never tire of the compliments from my neighbors and the Scott's 4 Step program is so easy to follow, they've taken out all the guesswork.
