Awesome product, I swear by it.
I started using this product 3 years ago. I love the results. I have used a few other products and was always disappointed. What pushed me to this particular Scotts product was my lawn looked horrible, weeds dead spots, discoloration of blade of grass. I switched over to your Bonus S product mid summer about 3 years ago, by the end of August my lawn looked awesome. My neighbors all tell me my lawn looks great and they ask what I did to turn it around. I tell them about your product. My lawn always has this constant dark healthy green color, and the weeds stay under control.
I will say lawn care is more than just throwing down product and watering. You have to understand the nature of your type of grass. I have zoned in my sprinkler system making sure to not use ver or under water the lawn. I pay attention to the weather, I don’t water on days that call for rain. Most people run their sprinklers with the wrong settings. Just because the front of your yard gets 5 or 10 minutes of water, doesn’t mean the other areas do. You really need to do your homework if you want the best results. I swear by your product, but that is only one part of the mystery and f a great looking lawn. Watering, the correct grass height the lawn is cut at, and understanding the nature of your type of grass, the soil it grows in, are all important. I have won yard of the month in my development.

It strongly appears that this product doesn’t kill weeds but it does produce a very green lawn.

Works OK requires more applications than suggested
I bought this product in 2023 when I had a house built and had a lot of problems with dollar weed.
The one thing I found with this product is well. The directions on the back say apply it once wait 8 weeks and then reapply if needed. I found that I was applying this every 4 to 6 weeks to keep my dollar weed in control along with a few other weeds in the yard.
I will say that the grass was very green. I really lush for St. Augustine grass. However, it's a very expensive solution that it seems as though requires much more applications than directed in order to remediate the weeds.
I'm going to try it again this year (24) and determine if the expense at buying three to four bags of this a year is a sound financial investment or if I need to hire a service to come out and take care of it at that cost. I don't mind supporting local businesses, but at the same time this isn't very difficult to apply. It's more of. Is it the right chemical that goes in my lawn.
I hope is is that Scott's didn't sell out to some sort of equity firm and they're cutting corners by using substandard costs and in doing so providing a less powerful solution for homeowners to control their lawns and keep the HOAs off of our backs.

They call it weed & feed because it feeds the weed
Put this down on September 6th and the weeda are thriving. For the price, should have gotten results. Cannot recommend.

Absolutely wonderful!!
Fantastic results!!! Our “lawn”, or whatever it was, was actually so many open areas, and most of the rest was mostly weeds! After 1 application, neighbors started telling us how beautiful our lawn looked. After 5 months, we are putting down another application

Weed and feed just does not work anymore
I used to purchase your weed ad feed products annually for my lawn but the weed just did not go away. Eventually, I cancelled my annual purchases and stop using the products. Your product just does not kill the weed anymore. However the turf builder is awesome.
Your response to everyone is always the same. Per your answers on this forum.

Bonus S seems to be working
Seems to be improving the appearance of the lawn already, 2 weeks in. But I have a long way to go. Lots of crab grass and nutsedge to deal with. Wondering if I can apply a Nutsedge killer to the lawn and when. Lots of bare spots and the crab grass loves that. I live along the gulf coast so lots of very sandy soil and that means it drains fast and stays dry which makes things difficult. Having the lawn aerated in a couple days and hoping that helps. But still, when, if I can apply some sort of nutsedge killer to the lawn? May 1st I applied Bonus.
