Great
I have a basic 6 quart Instant Pot that I love but wanted to have a bigger one to fit all the ingredients when making soups or ribs. I was intrigued by the concept of quiet release. The upgrade is worth it for the extra room and quiet release. There’s still noise but it’s not going to scare your guests away. I love the look, too. The only down side is that the tabs on the top part isn’t directly centered like the other models. You’ll have to move the cover a little to the side to insert it into the slot to rest your cover on the side of the Instant Pot. It’s a not a big deal, I just need to break my habit from my previous Instant Pot.

Just the right size
I had tried a 6 quart Instant Pot and like it, but it took up too much room. The 3 quart is just the right size for my small kitchen, and performs the same function.

Next generation IP lacks one helpful feature
The Instant Pot is great and I use it several times a week to make rice, cook frozen chicken, slow cook a meal, make hard boiled eggs and more. My only complaint about this Instant Pot is that the insert lacks the notches on the inside showing cups and liters. That was a really helpful feature of my old Instant Pot.

Broken item sent in good box
Arrived with the handle broken from the 'pot' & cracked. The box was undamaged & the handle wasn;t in the box. It would appear I was sent a broken return that they just put in a new box. (I'm surprised they asked for a rating)

Little Sister Pot!
My sister needed to be able to cook while she is recovering from an injury that makes it difficult right now for her to reach her home kitchen. She had been looking at hot plates, but based on our success with the 6-quart Instant Pot in our kitchen, she agreed to try the 3-quart instant pot in her emergency bedroom kitchen. She is very happy with it and we ordered the non stick inner pot to allow her to heat up foods, as well as cook foods.

Great but not gift shipping friendly
Bought this for my husband as an early Christmas present. We love instapot and need a new one. Darth Vader look fabulous. Just know if it is a gift for someone in the house ship it somewhere else. It doesn't come in a shipping box, it's just wrapped in clear plastic . Of course the day it arrived my husband was there to grab the packages. Ruined his Christmas surprise.
