Rated 1 out of 5 by LGMom from Quality Has Gone Downhill I'm not sure what has changed with this product. I've bee buying these bags for years and loved them. Lately the zippers keep ripping when I open the bag. I feel like most of the box is useless and they are not inexpensive!

Rated 1 out of 5 by MC from Freezer burn on $200 worth of meat within 5 days We purchase our meat once a month and put it in the freezer. We have always used vacuum seal bags but this month decided to try ziploc freezer bags. It was a mistake. Within 5 days all of our meat has freezer burn. We squeezed out as much air as possible and still, our food got freezer burned. These do not work to keep freezer food fresh.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Magnolia from Worst ziplocs I have ever bought I bought a case of ziplocs, 38 seal top bags, the opening is stuck together and have to be ripped to open them then they cannot be sealed again. Each one is stuck at the opening. I use scotch tape to seal food closed

Rated 3 out of 5 by Italia from Not As Good As They Used Yo Be I have been a loyal Ziploc consumer for many years and purchase Ziploc Freezer bags in large quantities through the various warehouse clubs. I don't know what's going on with the bags, if they have changed suppliers or what, but the latest batches have a pinkish tinge and the mil is much thinner the older ones, which had more of a bluish tinge to them. Since, they are thinner I've been having to double bag everything before freezing it, which defeats the purpose of being cost effective. They used to be my favorite bags but now I'll have to start comparing with others on the market.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Phll from I would buy Ziploc bags again BUT......... The great seals make little difference if the bag leaks in the corners. We have stored, for example, liver in the freezer in a gallon Ziploc bag. When we take it out to the refrigerator for thawing we have blood all over the refrigerator shelf because the bag leaks. This is not a one time deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Grandma S from Love/hate relationship We have used Ziploc products for many years. The gallon size has always been a staple in our home. However, recently, we have gotten multiple boxes where the seam separates on one side when we tried to open the bag. Typically they have always been reliable, but something has gone wrong with the quality control. I hope the company figures out what is going wrong so we don't have to continue throwing unused bags away, what a waste!
