Does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M is a pretty reliable brand and this item didn’t disappoint. Packing is neat and pretty compact. The plastic is folded in the box and in order to get the gold marks out it does take some patience and heat. Patience is key to getting it to look decent enough to see through it. It definitely keeps a lot of the cold air out. Overall good product & would be beneficial to anyone.

I’ve been looking for a great product like this, it literally keeps the wind and cold out. An easy application process and a great quality product. I definitely recommend this 3M outdoor window insulator kit.

Simple and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up my dad would put plastic on our windows every year. Now I do it in my own house. These 3M kits come with enough plastic and double sided tape to cover 2 typical bedroom windows. The instructions are short and simple, so if you’ve never done this before you may want to search online for a more detailed How-To. This kit is different from others because it doesn’t require the application of heat to shrink the plastic to fit. You just need to measure and cut the plastic to fit. I prefer the heat to shrink kits.

Outdoor Window Insulator Kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This window insulator kit works great. Keeps the cold air out and the house stays warm. Very easy to put on the windows. We put them on two of our basement windows because it is always colder down there. It helped a lot. I don't feel the draft by the windows anymore. Love it!

Does its duty!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a couple of drafty windows and needed something to keep the winds out and came across this. It works. It really does. But putting it up and getting it to stay up was a lengthy process. And it doesn’t look that great. It’s on windows on the back of the house so I don’t really care about the aesthetics but I wouldn’t want anyone else to see it. A better DIYer would do a much better job than I. But it works. No more drafts. I am content with that.

Love this!

When I installed this on my windows we haven’t received any air inside the house as we did the previous fall/winter season. This is absolutely the best product to buy. I plan to purchase more to do some more of my windows.
