Really terrible piece of junk that doesn't work
This pole doesn't work as advertised at all. It will not stay extended when any weight is applied to the clothesline, so your clothes end up on the ground. (yes I screwed it in as tightly as possible.) Even if it did stay extended the stake at the bottom is only about one inch long, which is not long enough to stick into the ground, and if you sink it in further it's too short to do any good. So it just wobbles around and then when you put clothes on the line it shrinks and shrinks down to about 3 feet tall. Worthless.

Cloths line props from
First, it isn't a 85' pole. It's a cloth line pole, may be 8'. I tighten the plastic to keep pole a desired hight but it slowly slides dowm. Think a small sapling with a "y" in it would work best as we did years ago. Wouldn't recommend them.
