Nice but difficult to open battery compartment
I ordered 3 candoliers and they are great at an excellent price. The only problem I have with them is that 2 of the 3 were very difficult to open to add the batteries. In fact, I broke the latchet on one of the candoliers, but eventually opened it and added the batteries. I guess for the price, I shouldn’t complained since they still worked coming on at dusk and going off at dawn.

Looks beautiful in our old Victorian house

Set and forget LED candles, but note w/ batteries
This I bought to replace an old set from years ago which one of the similar type candoliers found broke taking out of storage earlier this week. True Value was the only known and reputable seller I found online offering faster shipping (nearest True Value store over 10 miles from me), and not wanted to wait until half of the Christmas holiday season was half over before receiving. Received in three days with expedited shipping offered.
In receiving the lights, electrically they perform as expected, have both steady and flicker modes. LED lights run cool and automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. Pro or con, bases of unit in one point of view given rustic gold look, very minor scratches and evidence of a very quick paint job in another point of view, but hardly noticeable in the window sill.
Cons with the item. Opening the battery compartment in three of the five I ordered required prying with a screwdriver. It also requires bulky D batteries (3 per unit).
