Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what is supposed to do I bought this vinyl strip to replace one that I tore while replacing an old threshold. The replacement is an exact match to the original. However, I couldn’t find it in any local stores and had to purchase online. The strip does what it is made for. However, for those of you that don’t work with this type of stuff every day, I suggest you do the install when you are not in a hurry and in a good frame of mind. Installation isn’t difficult but it does require patience. The vinyl strip has to be pressed into the narrow slots on the threshold. If you aren’t careful the vinyl can be torn. Work deliberately and be patient. Use a liquid detergent to lubricate the strip edges and threshold slots. Push the strip in one side at a time with a plastic spatula or you can use a flat blade screwdriver but be extremely careful using a screwdriver. I did none of what I just recommended and thus had to buy another strip.
