Very good, very quiet
I think we’ve had this four years now. It’s quiet so when I’m on a video call it doesn’t interfere. It does a great job of heating the room above the garage where the furnace just doesn’t quite do an effective job. My only complaint is the heater’s thermostat can be intermittently flaky. Sometimes it won’t cut out when it should (or come on) and I have to get up and fiddle it. All in all though it’s been good and I’d buy it again.

Perfect Compliment
This heater is a perfect compliment to nearly any living space. It runs quietly in the background and provides a level heat in the room. I only use the lowest of 3 settings and that seems to be more than enough to get the job done for my comfort.

best heater I ever had
I bought this model 4 or 5 years ago and still working perfectly. I recently bought a second one for another room as I have been so pleased with the original purchased. They heat my kitchen and garden room so well, it is surprising what such a small thing can do. It is much better than the large disk ones I had from another maker. Highly recommend. I also have their fans for summer.

What a waste
With a name like “whole room” I expected this heater to be just what I was looking for. To the contrary, I could only feel heat if I was a few inches in front of it. I called to say I thought it was defective, but was told that is the way it is supposed to work. I’m not sure I understand HOW it’s supposed to be a heater, but if you’re looking for a heater to keep you warm, this is not it. I’ll be returning it.

Heats up room quickly
Works great. No complaints. Great small size and heats the room up very quickly. Have used it for about 2 months daily so so far so good. My old Vornado (different model) died after a year so let’s hope this one last longer.

Waste of Money
Bought it online. Just tried it in a small, closed, "cool" (but not cold) room. Settings were at maximum. The fan rattled. The "heat" was barely lukewarm. After 2 hours, the room was no warmer than before.
Years ago, I owned several Vornado products, which were excellent. But I own a smaller, much cheaper, non-Vornado heater that works far better than the VH200. To judge from other customer reviews, the company's quality has deteriorated. They've lost me as a customer.

Very efficient, very effective
We live in a lower level and the temp is often 57-60 degrees when we get up in the morning. We turn on the heater in our kitchen and within minutes can feel the chill coming out of the room. It's very quiet and we find that it works just fine on the most cost-effective setting. My only complaint is the cord - it is too stiff, and doesn't lie flat on the floo, a possible tripping hazard. I'm just hoping it softens over time.

Great size and wonderfully stable base
This was purchased to heat a 15 X 15 foot room. It’s quiet and puts out “soft” heat on the low setting. I especially appreciate the range of the temperature adjustment.

Heater is good, but bad switch
Vornado customer service is fantastic. I have had 2 of these heaters and the switch has gone bad in both of them within a year time frame. While I’m displeased with the switch failing on both units, I’m happy with the heater otherwise and their customer service in replacement under the warranty.

Poor product
My original purchase last year of this product stopped working after 4 months of use. Vornado made good on its warranty by asking me to cut the cord and throw away the heater.- Not exactly a sustainable way to recycle a product!!
The replacement of VH200 has 3 settings that are all exactly the same- no difference in heat production or fan. The heat on my original item last year was efficient and heated a room quickly. This one, due to poor heat production does not ever heat a small room. It is inefficient and I would call it a room warmer, not a room heater. The electrical cord is stiff, inflexible and hard to manage if you don't need the entire length and it also does not uncurl. I also bought a fan that has the same stiff cord.
I will not be purchasing another product from this company.

Excellent heater! Awful plastic smell!
So, this little heater does a great job heating my fairly large bed room, with many windows (about 15x12). The only thing is, when the heater showed up, it had an awful toxic plastic smell that filled the room and made it difficult to breathe. I had to leave it in the other room with the window open for a couple of days.

The heater sparked and burned my power strip!
I just unplugged my Vornado VH200, and found a burn mark where the power strip had sparked and melted a bit after using this space heater. The heater itself was about 3 ft. away from the power strip, so it was the plug itself that caused the electrical issue. I have used the power strip with another space heater and never had a problem. So disconcerting! I've only had the heater for about 6 months with limited use...I can't recommend Vornado at all--what a safety issue!

Unexpected service!
So here I am writing a positive review for a heater that never worked! I bought the 1500W Vornado in 2019 for our Class B Roadtrek motor home, just a small 20 ft unit. It has a propane furnace, but it's noisy and always wakes me up when it fires up and when it shuts down. We only camp a half dozen times in the summer months, but some nights get chilly here in Michigan and I just wanted something to quietly take the chill off in the middle of the night.
One night in 2019 I pulled it out in anticipation of a cool evening. During the night I turned it on, but it didn't do anything. The "on" light glowed red, but that was it. I checked it out in the morning, couldn't find any reason for it not to work. I put it on the shelf in the garage when we got home, and that's where it sat until Feb 2021 when I spotted it and decided to follow through.
I called the company, spoke with Paula. I asked if there was a secret switch or something that I should be doing, she said to cut the cord, send pics and they were shipping out another new unit today. Wow, gotta love Made in the USA...and a 5 yr warranty!!!

I bought this heater for my daughter's room, heat element died within 8 weeks. I am disappointed in this product, which was my second room heater. The first heater which was same brand but different item, quit in the first 3 weeks. Not sure I would trust this brand again.

Quiet and warm
Bought one for garage/studio and it warms the room nicely. very quiet. internal thermostat keeps it from overheating and so doesn't run all the time! saves on energy. Nice looking and light weight to carry to other room if needed. doesn't fall over!! bought another one for my daughter who lives in an old home in Wisconsin. They love it.

Quiet and Efficient
Love this space heater! We bought it so we could use our uninsulated back porch occasionally during the winter, and even on cold days it warms it right up in very little time, and can barely notice it's running--very quiet and doesn't blow straight at you! Plus it's light and portable...great space heater, great purchase.

Warms room quickly!

Heats well, feels very safe
We bought this space heater to heat a large 'great room' in a cabin without central heat. We couldn't even use the highest setting because we were concerned about the electricity draw, but this little heater still performed wonderfully. It takes a little while to really heat up, but the outside never gets hot (safe for pets and kids) and I really like the auto-off if it gets knocked over. Great value for the money and very effective.

Awesome when it works
I used this for half of a season before Vornado replaced it under warranty because the fan stopped working and the coil would glow bright. Then the replacement one sat on the shelf in the box all summer, I used it for one season, and it worked all the way through. The next season I plugged it in and it ran for 10 minutes before the fan stalled and the coil glowed bright. My wife kicked it and the fan started again, but I can’t trust that this heater won’t burn my house down. This might work for one season, but don’t trust it. I have replaced this with a different brand for this season.
