Not what I expected.
This unit is billed and sold as an "outdoor fan", however the vents on top of the motor housing are not protected in any way so every insect that desires can infiltrate the housing and build nests. This isn't a good design. The fan also wobbled so bad that even using all three balancing weights wouldn't eliminate it. I wish you hadn't discontinued the Caicos fan. I have two of those and they are great.

Love the Bridgeport Outdoor 52 inch fan!
I just purchased a second Bridgeport Outdoor 52 inch fan. We extended our patio and so we had room for another one. Both fans have the light kit. With the bronze finish they look great!. They are very quiet, and have 3 different speeds to cool us down just the right amount when we are outside enjoying the patio ourselves or with guests. I highly recommend this fan! It looks like it cost more than we paid for it.

Misleading instructions and poor machining
Don't get concerned if your inventory of the parts doesn't match the list. Some parts are NOT in the bag, but used in shipping. For example, you will only find 5 of the 10 bolts needed to mount the blades, but later will see that 5 are used to hold shipping blocks to the motor.
The machining of the pipe threads were poorly done and made it hard to screw in the down rod. Be careful, it wants to cross thread.

Wrong fan
I don’t know what I think about this product. One of the fans I ordered was wrong. Can’t get a response on email, computer or telephone to try and return the fan.

I need help!!!
I did not like the blades of these fans when I saw them in person. I am trying to return them but cant get anyone to help me. I was issued a return label but it doesnt say 1 of 5 fans. The order number 2551 was for 5 fans that came in 5 boxes. I have sent several emails requesting help and noone ever responds. Could someone please respond?
