It’s so loud
Me: It’s 77 decibels on low speed.
Him: What?
Me: IT’S 77 DECIBELS!
Him: WHAT?
Seriously, it also has a pitched squeal at times too. It cools the room great, and I like the easy clean filter. But, omygosh, it really adds a little something extra to the tinnitus.
I have another room with the same size but a different brand, starts with an F. It is only 63 decibels on high speed. So, be advised.

No remote
The air is very cold but no remote. If I realized it didn't have a remote to shut it off I would not have purchased it.

The Temperature knob broke in the first month!
Who makes the knob that gets the most torque, thin plastic?
Think OVEN knobs. the metal tube with one flat side to allow you to turn it. Well this has only a metal flat piece leaving the plastic to take the torque of turning.. CRRAACCK it went! Where do you get a new knob at no charge? Shouldn't break this soon! Or ever!

Great Air Conditioner
I bought this Air Condtioner for my bedroom to replace an existing one and I must say it is great. It is quiet, not like the one you purchase from a large chain store that sells food, tires and everything else. It is quiet and efficient and does a great job in the upstairs bedroom. During the day it gets a bit warmer than I like but after the sun goes down, works like a charm. The bedroom is at the max footage or possibly a bit more than this air condition is scheduled. I like the fact that there is a filter reminder light that illuminates to remind you to check the filter, which is easy to clean. Also the unit fits very well in the window. Other units I had to adjust so I could get a slight angle for proper drainage.
I have never used this brand before but If it continues to function like it is now, I will be purchasing more for replacements. I recommend this unit to anyone who needs one. It was also delivered faster than expected using the basic shipping fee.
