Why guarantee a bad product?
I am moving and need reliable tape for many boxes - this is definitely not the product I need. The tape peels away overnight. 3M wake up!!

Garbage Tape
This tape is the WORST!!! It will not stay on the boxes. It keeps coming loose no matter what I do. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Unacceptable
Bought in conjunction with a Scotch 3M tape dispenser (red metal and plastic gun type dispenser with foam covered handle). The combination was useless. Tape didn’t adhere very well, then tape could not be cut by the blade. The tape would not cut even when I tried to stretch against the fully deployed blade. Thus, poor tape adherence and then failure to cut resulted in a lot of tape everywhere except where needed. Disappointing.

Better than other brands
I will not use any other brand because I want the security knowing that this will hold packages closed. I also use it for "Laminating" cards, medication list, etc. that I carry in my wallet.

This is the worst tape I have ever used for moving!!! Literally cones off brand new moving boxes in 10 minutes!! I will have to re-tape all boxes as the movers load them. I have had 3-4 tape strips on the bottom one direction and 1-2 the other. Same with the top. It still won’t stick. Even on empty boxes. There has to be a better tape out there!!!! I eclectic better from this company as their tape was wonderful on my last move. I do not have time to keep buying more tape and re-taping boxes!!! This is already a stressful time and this is adding to it!

Scotch shipping take is the best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to use Scotch Packing tape everytime I send a package to my kids for birthday's, christmas or just because. I rely on Scotch Packing Heavy Duty take because of it's strength and I know it will hold ad will not use anything else!!

Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping holds fast

At first I didn't think the tape itself felt sticky enough to adhere properly to the box but after applying it I realized it was indeed sticky enough and would hold fast.

Scotch Shipping tape is the best packing tape.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping tape to review. I have used Scotch shipping tape for years. This doesn't seem a whole lot different from what I've used previously. It may be a bit thicker. I don't like the dispenser it came on however. Just too flimsy and it's hard to cut the tape with. I have a regular dispenser that I use and it works so much better.
I recently moved and only used 3M tape for all the boxes I packed. There were only a couple that didn't stay closed but I can't say if that was the tape or the person who taped it. I have used other brands in the past but they were far too thin and not strong enough to keep boxes closed.
I have also used this tape to get cat hair off my furniture and clothing. It works great for that!!
And since it's clear (nearly invisible), I've used it to repair items as well.
