Good quality for the money
Nice wood framed screen door and the price is great compared to other places. Note…no hardware is included.

Next time I'll make my own...
While i was aware that the screen door was unfinished and completely prepared to handle that, I was not prepared for the flimsy screen used on the door. There was a puncture in the package and when I inspected the door at the store, I either did not see the tear in the screen or it happened on the way home. The store clerk who inspected it with me did not se anything either. Once I was home and removed it from the box, I saw the tear. Fortunately, I had some screening that I could use to fix the hole, but I expected that the product would be intact when I purchased it.
I used a dark stain, so the fact that the door parts were made from scrap wood didn't bother me. However, the poor gluing job (which I found when I removed the flimsy screening) was a concern. Luckily, I had glue as well.
Once I re-glued and finished the door, it looked nice and served its purpose of an old style wooden screen door on an eighty year old home.
I think the next time, I'll just get out my router, buy some wood, and build one from scratch...

Wood Screen Door
The only issue I have with it and it could be a plus for some is the screen is not inset in the door, it is screened on the backside of the door. Makes it easy to re-screen but if you are painting or staining you have to take the screen out to get to the backside of the door. It was easy to re-screen so no big deal and the quality of materials made this an easy task. Other than that note, great door, square and true and cut perfectly

Screen door
It is unfinished on one side which is totally unsatisfactory. Is the owner supposed to add trim to the door in order to make it look OK? We returned it immediately.

Not Solid Wood
Same frame they sell at HD (for 36) is made up of wood pieces of varying length. So unless you put on 2 coats of primer and a thick top coat, it'll look weird. I was gonna put 2 coats of marine-grade poly on it for the workshop. Might make one instead with oak :)

Poor quality wood and construction
I didn't want the door to cut down my fault I did not see the actual size when the guy at the store ordered it.The joints were crooked. The dove joints had pieces of wood missing. There were huge gouges all over. The channel where the rubber goes to hold the screen was not done in some spots.Glue was sticking out at some joints.Bad wood Bad assembly.

Light, well-built, used for indoor bedroom
Got this for my child's room to keep the pets out. It's so perfect! It's super lightweight and very well-built. I expected a lot less quality for the price. I just painted it the color I wanted and installed a small handle. The only con is that you can't paint under the screen of the inside - but that's pretty obvious and I couldn't care less. This measurement was extremely difficult to find but that's what makes True Value so great - they tend to carry those odd, hard to find items.

It’s well made for the price range it’s in.
I needed a screen door on a bedroom door to keep the curious cat away from the innocent bird. I didn’t need en expensive outdoor door. Something that lets the air and light through and the cat out and it’s perfect for that.
