Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement ballast works perfectly, no noise. My old fixture started going off after about 30 minutes. I swapped the bulbs with a different fixture that was working, and they also went off, so I knew the ballast was bad. I had ordered this item from True Value before, and that fixture has been working fine for years. Installing the ballast was easy. After turning off the breaker, I was able to follow the schematics and swap out the ballasts without having to remove the fixture. The leads are long, so you do need to be careful not to pinch them when installing the covers back on the fixture. I had been so used to the hum of the old ballast, that I was surprised when the new ballast was barely audible. This ballast works fine with LED tube lights used to replace florescent bulbs.
