Clips don't work on thick visors.
This would work better on the older model vehicles where the sun visors are a little thinner. On the 2010 Tahoe the clips wouldn't work on the visor. By the time I spread them wide enough to slip on the visor they lost their grip. I had to modify them to clip on the mirror cover in the visor.
