Rated 1 out of 5 by Kevin G. from REALLY disappointed in this product I have a number of Kreg tools/jigs, and have loved every single one of them, until now. I've also received great service, until now. This product just does not deliver. I bought the 5mm, and the holes created with the 5mm drill bit are just too big for 5mm shelf pins. It's not as if they are just loose, they are sloppy loose, like fall-out-of-the-hole, loose. I tested 1/4" pins to see if those would work, but the holes are too small for the larger pins. I contacted Kreg via phone, and was told basically that that was just how it is. Pretty much, "all shelf pin holes are loose". I don't buy it. Unfortunately, I bought this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Larry K. from Shelf pin jib with 5mm bit This jig is incompatible with the 32 mm system. It does not have 37mm setback. You have a choice of 25mm or 50mm. Most hardware will not be compatible with these setbacks including drawer slides, hinges, lift-up hardware.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Daniel S. from Good Guide if Bit was Straight I have the same issue as mentioned by Andrew2020 in an earlier review. The 5mm bit that comes with the kit is not straight. This causes the bit to wobble and ultimately makes for a loose fit with the pins. Apparently this is a common problem with the 5mm bits. Being a Mechanical Engineer with 25+ years experience, my opinion is that it probably comes from the manufacturing process. It appears as if they start with the 1/4" bit and then turn it down to 5mm on the tip. If quality control is not super tight you will get this type of defect from numerous process variables. I would just switch to the 1/4" bit if I had not of already purchased hundreds of 5mm shelf pins.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andrew from Andrew2020 Great concept, but the drill bit was poorly engineered. Not true and straight, with a noticeable wobble that made the jig move around. Thought it was my drill chuck. Nope. You could see the bend if you lay it on a flat surface and rotate it around. Too bad the most important part is off kilter. Returned it to the store no problem, bought another one thinking I just got a bad one. Nope, second purchase had the same wobbly bit. For that price I expected a quality drill bit. Didn't buy another. Still considering my options.
