great poly
I really like this polyurethane. Goes on slightly milky but dries clear! Great product. Love the way it looks at feels once it's dry and cured. Definitely recommend.

Amazing
Used this product on several pieces and loved the way it flowed, but I'm more impressed with how it feels to the touch now that it's cured and getting use

Still protects after 20 years
When we moved into our 1885 house 20 years ago, we wanted the living room to look like it was from 1885. I installed oak crown and baseboard molding and built floor to ceiling oak and birch veneer bookcases, stained them, and used 3 coats of Aqua Zar satin on the vertical surfaces and 5 coats on the horizontal surfaces. We also sanded down the wood floor and used 5 coats on that. It all still looks great.
Since then, I used Aqua Zar when we bought an unfinished butcher block kitchen island and when I refinished our rear entry wood floor - again, 5 coats and we just scrub any dirt off.
It's a joy to work with - no oil smell or cleanup, doesn't change the color of the stained wood - this is important when you've been very careful in applying the stain to get just the right depth of color.
