Backs up their lifetime warranty
I bought this handset and lock combo about seven years ago. Recently the exterior thumb latch was a little hard to use to open. I sent a picture to Baldwin and explained what was happening and the next thing you know, a new set shows up on my door. I switched it out and rekey it in about 15 min with Smart key system. I also love the the feel of the solid steel parts. Baldwin really backs up their waranty. I’m only buying Baldwin locks with the Smart key system from now on!!

Great looks and Stand behind their products
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year I remodeled my house. I used Kwikset for all of my handles and locks. I had one mechanism fail and after a short phone call an new one was sent to me. I will always buy from companies that warrant their products for life.
