Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instruction Manual is Vague I bought this drill for a home project. While I am somewhat familiar with electric drills I haven't used them alot. When I got home I read the instruction manual and there was nothing in it about how to adjust the drill for a drill bit. I was sure that the chuck was supposed to turn by itself but mine wasn't. After 20 min of turning and turning I gave up and took it back to the store. The associate was very helpful and showed me how to adjust it for the drill bit. This involved plugging it in and holding the chuck while having the drill turn forward. This broke the chuck loose and was now able to adjust it to fit a drill bit. This drill was manufactured in 2017 so if the manual hasn't been updated since then I recommend that an addendum be put in the manual on how to put a drill bit in. It was very frustrating and I would have returned it and got a DeWald if the associate wasn't so helpful. Another suggestion is that the associate be sure the buyer knows how to put a drill bit in. It won't hurt to ask and it could save some frustration. Otherwise the drill did its job and worked just fine. I am happy with it in that respect.
